They are a thicker sock instead of the paper thin ones.  So hopefully they will last longer.

I purchased these for my grandson, right away. The hill would not stay up on his foot kept sliding down in his shoe. Considering that these shoes are made for children, they should have some sort of grip on the heel to help. Keep the sock in place. He complained that the material was scratchy and uncomfortable. I had to return this item.

Poor quality/uncomfortable

My 3 year old granddaughter loves Stitch and she loves these socks.  They are soft and stay on her feet.
