This might seem expensive but it is a wash then rinse then drain device without needing to lift and manage a full bowl. Easy to wash then rinse a bowl full of veg or dishes. Perfect for arthritic hands that can’t grip but the drain plug is easy to open and close with it without washing up gloves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bowl is a replacement for a long used white version. The problem is the adhesive label, which has proved impossible to remove in one piece without leaving the adhesive or scratching the surface.

After seeing this in my office, and liking the way it looked, I Googled it. It was a bit more expensive for the set than I had hoped and bought it anyway. I’m delighted I did. The design is great. It’s strong in construction and the handles make it easy to lift. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who can afford it - and get the drainer too!

The bowl I received is faulty - the drain opening does NOT open and close..I wrote to J J about this, asking for a replacement or refund - it has not been dealt with. I did receive a reply to my query, but the reply was not an answer to the query. The bowls are great, Ive bought one before - on this occasion

I have wanted one of these for some time,and finally treated myself after treating many others to one! And I am VERY pleased indeed with it! It is large(I can now fit my outsize dinner plates into It with NO trouble) It is sturdy(I'm hoping it will last for years)and I love being able to drain the water out without having too lift and tip(and SPILL)it out!!! It's very good for arthritis sufferers too. Just remember not to stack too many pots in it to soak until you are ready to wash up though,as that plug can be tricky to access when you want to drain that soaking water out to wash the pots with fresh hot soapy water! X

This again looked good as do all these products but very quickly the surface scratched from knives etc that were washed. Within a short space of time it looked really scruffy and the scratches were like pale grey marks all over it so I the it away. Water of money, I expected the plastic to be tougher and for it to last longer than a normal washing up bowl

Excellent convenience and design. However, our experience is that after on year the plug begins to leak even when in the closed position. We love the basin so much we have bought three of them, but we would prefer that they would not leak to begin with!

Fab. I have the beige one and my Mum loved it so much she asked me to buy her this one for Christmas to match her sink. She struggled now to empty her washing up bowl so the plug idea appealed to her. I made her a Christmas hamper and used the bowl instead of a basket and filled it with all sorts of things and she loved the idea.

Construction of it was easy, it fits perfectly on my draining board and I love the colour! The extendable part of it is so handy and even has a section in the cutlery part for knives to go blade down! Seems sturdy enough and suits my needs so far, especially as I didn’t have one!

Second one in three years - will wear screw drainer over time and this Leads to a Leak however then use in my potting shed so no waste
