[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scent has been around for a good minute or two so I knew exactly how it should smell. When I received it, I was not disappointed l. The scent hasn’t changed at all. I did notice it didn’t seem to last as long, but maybe I didn’t use enough. The smell can be overpowering if you get too liberal with the application so I try to be more on the conservative side when applying. Everyone always knows the scent and everyone seems to like it. It’s good to know some things never change.

The woodyness stands out with a little spicy. Not one of my favorites hence the 4 stars but everyone has their own style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up Drakkar Noir partly out of curiosity, partly because I’d heard so many people talk about it like it was a rite of passage. And yeah, the first spray took me way back—even though I wasn’t there the first time around. It’s sharp, loud, and proud right out of the gate. Lavender, citrus, and something kind of barbershop-y that feels like it walked straight out of 1985 with its collar popped. There’s a confidence to it, and I respect that. It’s bold, masculine, and definitely has a presence. But the thing is… after a few hours, I found myself wanting something softer, something a little more “now.” The pine and patchouli linger in a way that almost wears me, not the other way around. I don’t hate it. In fact, there’s a part of me that likes having it on the shelf for certain moods—maybe when I want to feel a bit more classic or defiant. But it’s not something I reach for often. I’m glad I gave it a shot, but for me, it’s more of a historical experience than a go-to scent.

Spicy and green, with a memorable woody drydown, this mainstay has been called the Sauvage of the eighties. For day or night, year-round except maybe for the high heat, this is the definition of a classic scent.

This one has a really nice scent. The sort of floral notes tie wonderfully with the spicy ones. It has an expertly crafted scent that definitely has a more traditionally masculine smell as expected. The one flaw for me is the scent dissipates rather quickly. I found myself needing to spray myself with the cologne multiple times per day. Even when I did multiple per “application”, the scent disappears quicker than most.

First sniff takes me wayyyyyyy back, reminds me of my father, which is a good thing. Sweet, slightly musky, but again the DNA is very outdated. Still and easy wear and not offensive at all.
