Pleasant but dated scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think this is a pleasant fragrance, but feels a bit dated and like something more relevant to Boomer/Gen X consumers or something most relevant in the 90s. Pros: strong scent, pleasant smell, best for evening use in my opinion Cons: a bit harsh at first but improves upon dry down, smells somewhat dated

Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Guy Laroche drakkar noir cologne free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This cologne is fresh scented, lasts all day, and is good for any time of year. I liked that it had a subtle scent and wasn't overpowering in any way. The packaging was premium and is appealing to me as a consumer. I definitely recommend it to others!

Nostalgic scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir really surprised me—I didn’t think I’d like it, but I actually love it. The scent brought back memories from my childhood, like watching my dad get ready in the morning or riding in his car. It smells bold and clean, kind of like how I remember things from back then. Even though it’s an older cologne, it still feels nice to wear today. It reminds me of a time when things felt simple and familiar. I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but now it’s something I reach for when I want that nostalgic feeling. It lasts all day too!

Very Old-School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir has a classic, masculine vibe, but its current version doesn’t last as long. The fresh lavender and mint hit first, followed by warm spices and woods. I like its nostalgic feel, though it does seem a bit old-school. A solid choice if you want something traditional without spending too much.

Great smelling fragrance. Go get you sum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir Eau de Toilette is a men's fragrance that was introduced in 1982. It is a sharp, spicy, lavender, amber fragrance that is made with a blend of lavender, citrus, spicy berries, and sandalwood. The fragrance has a spicey opening followed by woodsy accords with a mild citrus. It has been around for decades and has undeniable lasting power.

Classic men’s fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guy Laroche’s Drakkar Noir is a classic that wears its heritage proudly, starting with its sleek matte black bottle that feels both mysterious and masculine. The minimalist design is iconic in its own right—understated, but instantly recognizable, like a tailored suit that doesn’t need to shout to be noticed. Where Drakkar Noir really stands out is in its versatility. Despite its strong personality, it transitions surprisingly well from day to night. There’s something timeless about its blend of lavender, leather, and pine that makes it just as fitting for a sharp business meeting as it is for a late dinner. It leans more fall and winter than summer, but it’s not so heavy that it can’t be pulled off year-round with a confident hand. In terms of scent strength, this isn’t a background fragrance. A couple of sprays announce your arrival and linger well into the evening. Its projection is commanding without being suffocating—noticeable at arm’s length for the first few hours, then slowly mellowing into a more intimate scent. Sillage is where Drakkar Noir holds onto its old-school charm. It leaves a strong trail, especially in the first few hours, which may be a bit too bold for some, but perfect for those who want to make a lasting impression. It’s a scent that doesn’t just sit on the skin—it moves with you. For those who appreciate a fragrance with depth, history, and a bit of edge, Drakkar Noir still earns its place on the shelf. It’s not trying to follow modern trends—it sets its own tone and expects you to rise to meet it.

Old school cologne that stood the test of time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first spray, I could tell this was a bold fragrance—not the kind you wear quietly. The opening hits hard with a sharp lavender and citrus combo that’s clean but intense. After a few minutes, it settles into something darker and more complex. I noticed hints of spice, a bit of pine, and eventually that smoky, earthy finish that makes this cologne feel grounded and masculine. What surprised me most was the longevity. I sprayed it in the morning, and it was still going strong into the evening. This stuff doesn’t just sit close to the skin—it projects. One or two sprays is plenty. I can see how Drakkar Noir might not be for everyone. It’s got a retro vibe that won’t appeal to fans of lighter, sweeter colognes. But if you like your fragrances bold, classic, and with a touch of nostalgia, it’s definitely worth a try. Rating: 4/5 A confident throwback scent that still holds its ground today.

Decent product for its value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product, I am only giving it 3 stars for the comments from my girl friend (she’s the boss haha). In my opinion, this is a solid old school fragrance. Toy can’t beat the value for money and it last decently. As mentioned before, I don’t give more stars because my gf told me that I was smelling like his grandpa! Haha That doesn’t mean this product is bad, but definitely is not what you would like to hear, specially when you are young.

Classy, Refined, and Perfect for Special Occasions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drakkar Noir is a great scent—rich, refined, and mature in the best way. I really enjoyed it, though it’s not something I’d wear every day. It has a classy, confident vibe that feels perfect for dinner parties, work events, or a special night out. It gives off a premium feel, both in how it smells and how it wears over time. I’d absolutely consider buying it as a gift for friends who appreciate a more distinguished, timeless fragrance. Overall, it’s a solid cologne that adds a touch of sophistication to any occasion.

Great smell, just wish it lasted longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't say I haven't smelled this before. Very much barbershop fragrance. Projects well is summer specially in Florida. Does not last longer than 3hrs. Smells familiar but versatile. Great Fougere fragrance & can be used as a day-to-day go to. Being said that it's older fragrance & very common for people over 30s.
