Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the packaging for this, and the first thing I noticed is that is just has a clean fragrance nothing overbearing. The cleanser made my skin feel like it was deep cleaning and I love that you can feel it working and that it's effective.

A trip down scent memory lane!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A powerhouse of the 80s and a scent firmly lodged in my scent memory bank. While the modern iteration is not the oakmoss bomb that the 80s version was, it's still the same recognizable Drakkar Noir DNA. I would actually say this is more wearable than the 80s version likely would be today. The wife and I are both Gen X and found the sample pleasant while not overpowering.

Classic men’s fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guy Laroche’s Drakkar Noir is a classic that wears its heritage proudly, starting with its sleek matte black bottle that feels both mysterious and masculine. The minimalist design is iconic in its own right—understated, but instantly recognizable, like a tailored suit that doesn’t need to shout to be noticed. Where Drakkar Noir really stands out is in its versatility. Despite its strong personality, it transitions surprisingly well from day to night. There’s something timeless about its blend of lavender, leather, and pine that makes it just as fitting for a sharp business meeting as it is for a late dinner. It leans more fall and winter than summer, but it’s not so heavy that it can’t be pulled off year-round with a confident hand. In terms of scent strength, this isn’t a background fragrance. A couple of sprays announce your arrival and linger well into the evening. Its projection is commanding without being suffocating—noticeable at arm’s length for the first few hours, then slowly mellowing into a more intimate scent. Sillage is where Drakkar Noir holds onto its old-school charm. It leaves a strong trail, especially in the first few hours, which may be a bit too bold for some, but perfect for those who want to make a lasting impression. It’s a scent that doesn’t just sit on the skin—it moves with you. For those who appreciate a fragrance with depth, history, and a bit of edge, Drakkar Noir still earns its place on the shelf. It’s not trying to follow modern trends—it sets its own tone and expects you to rise to meet it.

Strong earthy notes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice scent. It’s a strong smell of earthy scents. Not one of my favorites but I do like it. To me it gives off the office vibe and not a night on the town. I would have it for my meetings and interviews.

Smells great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this spray free from Influenster, in exchange for my honest review. Drakkar Noir brings bold, clean vibes with a spicy edge. It’s got that throwback feel, but if you wear it right, it still stands out in the best way. Just go easy on the spray—it’s strong and speaks loud. Another scent I would recommend!

Decent product for its value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product, I am only giving it 3 stars for the comments from my girl friend (she’s the boss haha). In my opinion, this is a solid old school fragrance. Toy can’t beat the value for money and it last decently. As mentioned before, I don’t give more stars because my gf told me that I was smelling like his grandpa! Haha That doesn’t mean this product is bad, but definitely is not what you would like to hear, specially when you are young.

A classic scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A true classic for me. Smells good not my first choice. Perhaps a good classic for older man but it smells good. Projection I felt wasnt too strong. Warm or cooler weather scent to me. The packaging I can't say much as it just came in a little glass tester.

A classic, masculine scent that shows promise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried a small sample of Drakkar Noir, and while I get the appeal, the tiny amount didn’t allow the scent to fully develop. The opening is fresh and classic—lavender, citrus, and a bit of spice. It hints at something deeper, but the dry-down was too faint to judge properly. From what I could tell, it feels like a timeless barbershop scent with a masculine edge. I’d need a larger spray to really assess longevity and complexity.

If you could smell a feeling: stepping out of a l

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir (Sample size) for testing purposes from Influenster. The packaging is smart and simple- I mean It’s almost impossible to not look good in black. I was surprised I liked this cologne. (I believe my brain confused this with a different one I didn’t care for). This was not that cologne! (Score!) I was super excited it smelled great on me! (Some colognes don’t -yay human chemistry- lol) When you first spray it on , Drakkar Noir has an herbal-spiciness and a faint floral note. Not overpowering. As it integrates with your bodily chemistry, it blends together into a warm, clean and fresh scent. If you could smell the feeling of stepping out of a luxurious, steamy, hot shower -warm, fresh, invigorating, confident- to me that is what this smells like after it mingles on your skin. It stays around too. This isn’t one of those that dissipates and makes you wonder if you imagined putting any on! But it’s not overbearingly choking you and everyone else out either. Drakkar Noir isn’t obnoxiously parading around, bragging so everyone will see them. No, Drakkar Noir is vibing, suave, adventurous, and having a great time - which is fun to be around. That all said -I like this cologne. It’s not displaced either of my two current favorite colognes. (That’s a tough sell lol) But I *will* be getting Drakkar Noir again.

Not for me, but could be for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a decent fragrance but not something I’d wear. It smells like a scent for younger men / teenagers, something like an axe body spray scent. It’s very strong and chemical-scented. It’s not bad, just not what I look for in a fragrance.
