I initially followed the child's instructions by accident, which included the nostril swab cap, as seen in my photo. (I had to remove the cap before testing myself.) I will say it was very handy that the box comes with a pop-out hole on the front where you can rest the test tube, so it doesn't fall over and spill. The results could get a little confusing to interpret since there are so many possible combinations, but the instructions packet clearly outlines them all. I do appreciate how thorough the instructions are, both for adults and for children. I chose to test myself and was, as expected, negative for all 4 viruses.
