This is a super nice beach towel! With as popular as going to the beach is, it’s surprising someone hasn’t thought of this earlier - a beach towel with a side that resists sand! If you’ve ever been to the beach, you know how annoying it is to get sand everywhere. It seems no matter how much you try to shake one out there’s still sand. The backside of this towel is made differently than the front, so that it dramatically reduces the amount of sand you’ll have to deal with as it will not adhere to the material. Of course, you won’t be able to keep every grain off of the front side, but it sure can make it easier. The towel still provides a good thickness that if you do take a dip in the water, you still be able to get a good dry off. The colors are nice and works well with the aesthetics of the towel. Certainly worth giving it a try if you want a functional towel and less sand to deal with.

I was skeptical when I ordered these and assumed I would be returning them. However, after one use on the beach I’m convinced these were worth the purchase. The sand free side is not scratchy like I assumed it would be and really does repel sand. I would purchase these again.

Love this beach towel. I have tried several other brands of beach towels and this one is the best. The sand really did shake off after being used at the beach for hours. I have washed this towel and it has retained its softness and color beautifully. I will be purchasing these for my family.

This is not your standard terry cloth lightweight towel. This super thick and heavy. One side is nice and smooth to lay on the sand and soft side is perfect to lay on. The generous size of this towel (more like a blanket) let's me (6'2") lie completely flat with only my feet in the sand. The hanging loop is ideal for letting it dry. The sand shakes right off of it and away you go! Perfect towel for the perfect beach day!!

This is a huge towel and it is very soft and very pretty. I will enjoy using it at the beach this summer!! Can’t wait to try it out. I love the beach and this towel will be great for me and I know I will get a lot of use out of it because it is so well made!!

Love this towel. Super soft and cozy. It appears very absorbent. The towel is super big to lay out on or wrap yourself in. I able to try it in the sand to see if it was sand resistant or not, but it appears that it could be. Either way, you will not be disappointed with this towel. It’s huge and so soft.

This beach blanket is very thick and plush. We just love it and our youngest dog Clancy thinks it’s pretty dog gone great too. We will be using on our next trip to the beach when we take our next trip to Florida.

Not what I expected but nice I expected a different type of material on the underside or something that could make it "resistant". I think "resistant" is inappropriate but I do like the thickness & size of it more than any other beach towel i purchased.

These towels do resist sand, but they’re a bit heavy. Other than that, they are really good quality, and a generous size.

This towel has an unusual weave. Unlike regular towels, all the loops are on one side making the back (sand side) like a mat. The edges are double stitched for durability. It’s a little thin for drying off with, but great for laying on.
