Good Value for This Set

I do feel that these improve the life span of fresh produce, especially berries, in our refrigerator, though I don't know how that is possible since there is no "filter" that ever needs to be replaced. I wish there was a set with more of the shorter ones, or that the taller ones were not quite so tall, because I cannot stack these as pictured in my French Door refrigerator. Also, the taller ones will not fit in the drawers. Actually, they will fit in the drawer, but the drawer cannot be closed and that means the doors won't close, so... you get the idea. If your drawers are 8" or more deep, and your shelves will accommodate items that are more than a 12" high, you won't have these problems. One last thing, since they REQUIRE the use of the lids, and neither the container or the lid can be used independantly, I think it is really dumb that Rubbermaid refers to this as an 8-pc set when, in reality, it is only a 4-pc set. I knew it was only 4 containers, but it is a pet peeve of mine when a company tries to make their product sound like it's more than whatever it really is.

Nice containers. Love the various sizes. Smallest will hold a one pound box of blueberries all the way to the largest that would hold a head of lettuce or six ears of peeled corn on the cob. The produce I have stored so far seems to have held up well. I would recommend them.
