Best purchase ever… it vacuums and mops at the same time, you can pick the room from the layout map of the app or the whole house on a single charge, you can use your favorite floor cleaner (I use Fabuloso) leave the house clean and smelling fresh.. saves a ton of time… need I say more?

This is my second iRobot vacuum. It does a great job of mapping the house to create jobs for specific rooms. It seems to do a fine job of vacuuming and, with the mopping solution, a good job of mopping the floors as well.

I love it. Pretty simple to set up and I've had no trouble. It does way better with pet hair than I thought. I have 3 long-hair cats, one is a Maine Coon shedding monster, a teenage boy, and a husband… This is on the second floor and if I run once a day cleaning everything I am still not having to empty often. The first day I had more to maintain but now it's several days before emptying. The floors are hardwood but there's carpet underneath a desk and office chair in one room. When the chair is moved out of the way the vac does a pretty impressive job on that small shag carpet. My favorite thing has been how well it keeps under the beds dust free. In general we now have less dust. Im waiting for my husband to get me another for downstairs. Get it. You'll like it.

Mapping and cleaning work well in our weekend house. If you have a complex environment (like our home) then it will take hours to do the mapping. Have patience. We had an issue with it finding its way under a bed in a carpeted room and then not being able to get out due to the close tolerance of the height of the vacuum vs the bed clearance. I haven't figured out how to make the bed an exclusion zone yet. You should clean the device before making a run.

When it works, it's awesome but it's not always consistent. Still trying to figure it out.

Did not work. I followed the few instructions and it could not even get off the charger. Returning this thing.
