I installed these tires on my 1999 Chevrolet Silverado and I drive about 12,000 miles per year for various purposes (work, fun, home projects and etc). This is the 4th set of Michelin tires I have purchased for various vehicles and have been very satisified with every set. The ride is smooth and the tire life is exceptional. The set I replaced on my current truck had about 95,000 miles on them. The tires cost more than about all the others out there but, when they last that long they are worth it. I highly recommend them.

I bought a brand new 99 Silverado LT.I got only 21000 miles out of those tires99(not Michelin)lol b/4 they started wearing a lil thin,so I went ahead and bought 4 new Michelins on it in 2 yrs later(01).I still to this day have those same tires on my truck,almost10 yrs later,and still have tread left,and still ride smooth!...,,,Seriously ;) You might pay more for Michelin,but hands down you get your moneys worth!It is NOT only the name Michelin that makes people but your tires,it is performance and satisfaction,hands down the best and safest tire money can buy!Thx.....;)

I have a 97 Nissan pathfinder, first set of Michelin tires were the LTX/MS2 they lasted me close to 70K miles , after that I got this defender LTX/MS since the MS2 version is discontinued. I love this tires, after the tires replacement you can fell the change like day and night. Super Smooth ride, a little of improve in miles per gallon. For me this tires are the best in the market.

My Dad was an avid advocate of Michelin tires all my years growing up. They were the only tires he would buy. I myself however thought tires were tires, as long as they were round and held air who cares. When I was in my early twentys I started my own contracting business and spent a lot of time on construction sites. Needless to say I also spent a lot of time changing flats, due to nails and other construction debris, and a lot of time purchasing tires every year or so. Flash forward fifteen years or so and picture yourself in the high speed lane of a four lane highway during rush hour running around 70 mph. Suddenly and without any indication of a problem my left rear tire blew. Somehow I managed to get over through two lanes of traffic just as the lanes split, two lanes each way and into the center area of the split where I came to a stop. As I sat there trying to gather myself, my now deceased fathers words echoed in my head. Because so much is riding on your tires! It's the perfect slogan, mostly because it's true, but obviously I never got the picture like I'm sure a lot of others haven't. Since that day, now twenty years ago, I'm an avid Michelin fan. In the past twenty years since I've been driving on Michelins I've had three seperate instances were I'm quite convinced that if I had any other tires I possibly woundn't be here to write this review. I preach to all my family and friends that besides the safety factor I haven't had a flat tire in twenty years, and I only have to mess with buying tires every five or six years. You guys make an amazing product and as a consumer it's nice to be able to purchase what I consider to be a life safety product and do it with complete confidence. Please never compromise your quality for your bottom line as I have seen happen with other so called top of the line products.

The reliability of my Michelin LTX truck tires for my Ford 150 4x4 is nothing short of amazing. They are exposed daily to a very wide vareity of road conditions and hazards and never fail. The ride is remarkably smooth. A similar set of LTX on my wife's Chevy SUV has nearly 90,000 miles with a stunning amount of tread remaining and not one problem.

I have driven on a lot of tires and none compare to these on my truck. Rated at 70,000 miles and I got more than that out of first set and am working on 50,000 on the second and last check only half worn. They not only wear well they give me a smooth quiet ride on the highway. I didn't buy my Honda Ridgeline for off reading so these are perfect for my needs. Thanks Michelin for building such a great tire. I will definitely be using these again on my truck!

These are the best tires I have ever purchased. Ride is seamless, traction in wet or snow is excellent even when worn. Current set has over 75000 miles and are not to the wear bars yet. I will be buying another set soon. Even though tire vendors try to convince me that other cheaper tires are as good I will not be persuaded to switch.

THESE ARE THE BEST TIRES I HAVE EVER USED IN ICE, SNOW OR RAIN, ON OR OFF ROAD THEY WEAR LONGER THAN ANY OTHER TIRE I HAVE EVER OWNED. THEY ARE ALSO QUITE ON HOT SUMMER HIGHWAYS. I ran these on a 2003 2500 HD Chev pickup. I got 101,000 plus miles on the first set which I put on right after I bought the truck new. Put the second set on in the spring of this year. Hope the truck lasts as long as the second set of tires. I've never gotten this kind of mileage on a tire before. My wife drives a tahoe and as soon as the factory tires wear out I'll put Michelin LTX-MS on it so she will have a safe long lasting tire on her vehicle. Its doesn't get any better than this.

I am approaching 110,000 miles on my Michelin tires and they look like they will hang in there for another 20,000 miles or so. These are my first set of Michelins. I have been driving for over 40 years and have never had tires like this that last this long and perform this well. These tires have been a great blessing!
