bought this as a gift for the kids

Overall, its a nice fridge, however mine took 2 and a half weeks to arrive , understandably because of the pandemic situation- but then when I received it it was damaged. So i returned it and got another model with an independent Freezer compartment for a few more dollars. However this time I drove to a store 20 miles away to pick it up.

So far so good! The item arrived with no dents. I thought there may have been a few scratches, but it turns out theres a plastic film on the sides and top for protection that can be peeled off (Not on the door). Assembly was easy and the unit cools well. It’s also fairly quiet when running. Overall, we’re very happy with it.

Love the look. Bought this for my son but it is so light weight that when you pull to open the door, the whole frig tips forward. We We have had the frig for 34 days. It made a loud noise overnight. Now it no longer works. Good thing there is a 90 day return policy.

I wanted this fridge because of nostalgic reasons. I read the reviews and was very hesitant to buy it. My family has been using Frigidaire products for generations. Have they "cheapened" over the years? Yes. Have the the prices fallen over the years? Yes. So in this day where everything is made cheaply, it is reflected in the price. I felt the price was great. The color is exactly as it's named "Moonbeam." It looks just like the beaming color of the moon. The handle is made out of plastic, but let's face it, they only reason I bought this fridge was for the looks, and that is exactly what this handle is for is looks. There are ridges at the top of the fridge so you can open it. I did not have any dents or scratches in mine, and it is perfectly quiet. The reason for the 4 stars is because I don't feel the picture was a good representation of the color. It looked silvery metallic or brushed silver to me in the picture. The actual color is very flat, kinda what you would see on a safe.

The fridge makes a loud buzzing noise while its running. Its done so since the first time I plugged it in. I was hopping the loud buzzing noise would go away after awhile but it hasn't. The buzzing noise is vexing but not as vexing as the following: There's a sticker on the inside of the fridge that warns of explosion (careful with fridge). And there's a product warning on the site at the bottom of the page that states the product is known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. I wouldn't have gotten it had I known all of that. Hopefully my review will help others find a better option. I don't feel right selling the fridge to someone and I'm a bit worried as of how to get rid of it.

This retro mini-fridge is perfect for my needs. The price was great and shipping quick. It's attractive, has more than enough room for all sorts of items, and has a small freezer that comes with and ice cube tray. There is one thing that could use fixing. The silver handle on the door is plastic and just for show (the door has a recessed grip on top to open it). That door handle comes as a 2-piece fitting. The handle itself is supposed to slide into the plastic piece that comes attached to the door. But in order to get the handle to slide into the piece on the door, I had to remove the piece on the door and file down the ridges so the handle would slide into place. it's not a big deal, but that could be avoided with more careful manufacturing of those parts. The side-mounted bottle opener is a nice touch and is metal. Bottom line: it's a great value, has a cool retro look, and worth every penny.

This product was delivered on a Friday by Saturday it didn't work anymore . So I unplugged it and plugged it back in and by Sunday the compressor made so much noise I couldn't sleep So needless to say I unplugged it. It had been sitting not used due to the noise and the compressor going out and this product will go back to the store Very unhappy and disappointed . . I love the look and it seems great at first until it just falls apart . .

I purchased this item a year ago and for the most part it worked fine. I found however the freezer part doesn't freeze items very well plus it has just recently started to leak water in the front on the bottom left side even a few days after defrosting it. Other than that it keeps things cold.

I keep a mini fridge in my kitchen strictly for beverage storage. It frees up a lot of space in my main fridge, which is on the smaller side. My old one quit on me and I looked online for a while searching for a replacement. I normally steer clear of items with the one-star review percentage this fridge has, but I decided to take a chance. I was nervous, I wont lie. Verdict: For now, I'm happy I went with this one. The price is right and I LOVE the retro look. It's so cute! Also, the black was cheaper. Lucky for me, b/c it's the color I needed to match my other kitchen appliances. Also arrived with no dents or cosmetic damage so that was a huge plus considering what some buyers have gone through with this fridge. As far as function goes, it's an A+++. It's winter time so I realize it's not having to work quite as hard, but WOW, it keeps my drinks super cold. Had to turn it down because it was freezing some of my stuff. I like my beverages incredibly cold so this is awesome for me. If you're not a fan of that, you'd definitely have to keep this thing turned down. If it keeps the same momentum, I'll be more than satisfied. Especially at the price. You can't beat it. If it randomly quits or wont cool anymore as some have complained, I'll return to let you know!
