Very tasty!

This soup is really good. Very, very tasty! If you add additional ingredients like beef, pork, or more vegetables it tastes even better. The spice packet and the other flavoring packets add just the right spicy kick to the Pho. Make it in the microwave and it is easy and quick. You won't be disappointed! The only down side is that I have to have it shipped and it takes 3 days to arrive, however that really isn't that bad when you consider it comes right to your door and you don't even have to go to the store especially if the weather is bad outside.

Great "instant" Phö

Easy and convenient way to have Phö without takeout. Less expensive, too. All you have to add besides what's in the kit is the meat. Other fresh ingredients I like to add are are jalapeño slices and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. I typically have those ingredients on hand anyway, so for me, it's just making sure I have the sliced beef or chicken on hand to add to the Phö. The kit provides a broth bundle, seasoning packets, hoisin, and siracha packets, the noodles, and chopsticks. Just add water and cook in the microwave. Then add either pre-cooked chicken, or for the beef Phö, I add very thin slices of beef and let it cook in the steaming broth, the way they make it in restaurants. Very tasty and a great, warming and hearty soup on a chilly autumn or cold winter day.

It's the best you can get without leaving your house. I have eaten Pho that was homemade and in some very good restaurants when traveling. The portion is large and it's easy to make. I have not found anything on the shelves like this brand.

Prices or of control

The product is fine. The problem is Walmart's pricing on it. When I originally went to order it, it was the $21.92. And then I got a message that sold out. So when I went back in, it was then $32.98. Then I went back in to get my order When I got my order, I went back in to reorder it again. And it was $42.48, so from when my ordered it, they raised it $19.50 for the same 4 pack of soups, same ounce, same everything. They just simply decided to raise it by $20 for no reason. I did end up getting it for the $21.92 Finally, but the price is still up there. At the $42.48 now

I love the noodles. There's some of the best on the market when it comes to microwavable noodles are you referring to anybody? This is some of the best noodles I didn't have a microwave container.

When we opened the box inside it said (2) chicken %26 (2) beef. We said we would try one of the beef, we done exactly what it said to do then, found out there is no beef and also no vegetables you have to buy this separately, so we ended up just having the noodles %26 sauces. The flavors was very nice but no protein or vegetables. The packaging is very deceiving, as it said beef %26 chicken.

Bar below value for the money.

I found that five dollars per helping was extremely expensive for a little broth and a few noodles. I consider this product a rip off. After reading instructions I discovered you have to add your own protein and your own vegetables! As I said earlier, a rip off. This is my honest review. D. Dillavou

No protein included - Overall disappointing

No protein is included, the chicken and beef relate only to what is the best suited to add. The pho has some of the smell of pho but not the rich taste, The tiny broth packet gives only a hint of flavor to the water you add to the line in the paper container. You get a wimpy amount of glass noodles with a spice pouch plus a packet each of hoisin and sriracha.

View box and "suggested additions" carefully

I was VERY disappointed in this purchase. If I would have look at it closer I would have realized that it did not include any meat or vegetables. It is very expensive at almost $5 a bowl for rice noodles and spices only. I would have returned it if I had not taken one for lunch and found it was nothing like pictured.

Not Like I thought

The taste felt very artificial. I did not like the way the process was. Very confusing. The taste was not what I expected. I've had PHO before, this was nothing like what I have had in the past. I am returning the uneaten packages.
