I bought this after a recent snow storm left us powerless for almost four days making living conditions near unbearable. The generator would have proved to have been invaluable and taught me a lesson, which is that I should have bought this back when I first wanted one as opposed to after I needed it. Anyhow, the unboxing, assembly and first start-up was without any incident and easy enough for any do-it yourselfer.

Product supports around the house power needs including a detached workshop. Starts easy and the remote start and stop comes in handy when distanced from the generator. Dual fuel is a clear advantage when sourcing fuel supplies. Noise level is acceptable and periodic maintenance requirements easy to perform.

Bought this generator to power my 26' travel trailer for a trip without power hookups. Generator did great. Powered the AC, refrigerator/freezer, tv, lights, etc with no issues. Ample outlets made hookup easy. Is listed as a quiet generator (under 60db). Was still noisy but not as bad as a standard unit. Two things that would make this generator better: 1. Fuel gauge is not accurate. Appeared as if fuel was almost empty but still had probably half a tank remaining. The red fuel bar disappeared but generator kept running. No real way to judge when you need to refuel. It ran out after about 12 hours. 2. No meter to see how much power you are actually using.

Purchased the generator a couple of months ago in preparation for the upcoming stormy season here in the midwest.....it will make a great backup unit for the house if needed. Love the dual fuel and electric start features, it has all the right stuff.......Hey, it's a WESTINGHOUSE !....what else needs to be said ;-)

I bought this item scared thinking it wasn't going to be what I needed but it was the exact total opposite I am excited about actually making this purchase. Also it works great haven't had any problems with it & the gas lasts & what other generators do you know that are both gas & propane

a compact unit and is really quiet and the remote start feature is great I can start it from inside and I got power in the house, I'm a 80 year old handicapped person so this is very helpful. Westinghouse paid great attention to details, Love it.. Good Job Westinghouse

I really can't think of another feature I would add. The directions are easy to follow. The wheels and feet were attached in 3 minutes, the furnished oil was put in and gas added. Ready to rock and roll in about 10 minutes. Runs like a dream.. I gave it a 4 because I had a problem locating the remote start. I looked everywhere , in every bag and couldn't locate anywhere. About to call until something caught my eye. There it was, hanging from the manual start pull rope..

I bought the product for backup emergency power for my house. With the ready for interlock connection plug, very convenient to use. Starts up easily with electric start. I feel very secure knowing I have this generator to protect my home in an emergency

We bought the WGEN3600DF due to all of the reviews. We unboxed the product, great packaging - no damage. Put the feed and wheels on the generator. Hooked up the battery. Put the supplied oil in using the supplied funnel. Put about a 2.5 gallons of gasoline into the tank. Made sure the fuel selector switch was set to gasoline, turned the fuel shutoff valve to on. Pushed the start button - nothing. Acted as if there was no gas in the generator. Did that for a few times, still nothing. Called customer service, we are waiting for a call back. Will update after we are able to run the generator.
