Served these to family a couple days before Christmas, along with 2 other Sam's appetizers. These are your basic small "pig-in-a-blanket" appetizers. They taste pretty good. They come packed very neatly. They bake up with a nice crispy but soft crust. All I did was pop them into the oven while still frozen.

I purchased these earlier today and loving a good appetizer I prepared some when I got home. I went online and was surprised to see the negative reviews and felt compelled to chime in here. First, they ARE wrapped in puff pastry as described. Anyone familiar with puff pastry understands it doesn't have a lot of flavor on its on but rather enhances the flavor of the contents and provides some texture. Bake these according to the package instructions, serve with your favorite condiment and enjoy! These are priced well and will be a freezer staples for us for the football and holiday hosting season.

I bought these as a treat for the family. I was a little off put about the price when I got them home and took half of them out to fix as a family snack that evening and saw how tiny they were. I thought maybe the pasty wraps will puff up as they baked. Wrong, they just browned up nicely but stayed small. The aroma when taking them out of the oven was not really bad but also not particularly appetizing either (hey, aren't they supposed to be appetizers?). Even the kids who usually scarf stuff like this down could only be convinced to try a second one after dipping them in an assortment of their favorite dipping sauces. No hope of ever getting them to go for a third.

I purchase these 2-3 bags at a time. I ONLY use the air fryer and it only takes 6 minutes at 380 degrees. Next, you can have a small snack or if you want them as a side with something else just throw some more in! This is one of my go to snacks and sometimes lunch/late dinner. I do not like deep fried, I love my air fryer, and these are SO GOOD! I used regular mustard on mine; however, I have friends that use ketchup, BBQ, Frank's sweet and hot chili (I love that sauce too), and honey mustard.

I thought this would be an alternative to the traditional pigs in a blanket, I will opt next time to using cans of dough and them myself. The case contains 2 plastic trays with 20 in each tray, bake at 400 degrees for 20 mins. The crust would not achieve a golden brown in the oven. The taste had a too smokey flavor for many of our guest. While a very cost effective option, I won't purchase these again.

Disappointing. I first followed the directions and cooked them according to the time listed on the box. The pastry was not done. So I ran them another 10 minutes. The pastry was STILL doughy. I didn't want to cook them any longer, bc they would have been burnt on the outside and the hot dog would have been tough.

What I like is that these are quick and easy for a snack for myself or the kids agter school to just pop in the oven and done in 16 minutes. They didn't taste bad or gross, but not really a fan . The outside was crunchy and plain which I didn't mind. The hot dog I didn't like. I had the members mark parmesan crusted franks in a blanket, those tasted better. Overall, don't plan to buy again. I prefer Pillsbury Cresent & Lil smokies. Taste way better .
