Did not cook up well

I don’t know what’s going on with Sam’s appetizers, but, lately it seems every selection is not fit for human consumption and these franks in a blanket is on that list accompanied by the Blanketed Sea Scallops. The meat and the enveloped “crust” was horrid. The taste of the meat was overpowering the taste of the “crust” and each one became unwrapped during the cooking process and became franks “on” a blanket. I’m beyond disappointed and will be requesting a refund.

A teenage boy liked these. The rest of us thought they were gross. The pastry (blanket) was light and ok, but the sausage part wasn’t. They were like the cheapest, greasiest hotdog type things. People were eating the bread and leaving the sausage things on their plates. Won’t buy again.

Not that great. Breading is tasteless. The meat tasted strange and made me burp numerous times throughout the rest of the day. I got to have a lasting memory of that meat all day long. My teens (tried) would not eat them. Tried with my husband. He had the same issues. Skip these. Do yourself a big favor buy Little Smokies and make your own.

Expecting “Lil Smokies” and instead got a chunk of salty bologna. Will not buy again

Not a good taste. My kids much prefer cheap hotdogs wrapped with crescent rolls
