I love my Michelin's

I chose Michelin tires because of their reputation. I drive an SUV where the winters can be challenging. I'm impressed with the performance of these tires in the rain and snow. The gripping and stopping ability give me confidence that I will maintain control of my vehicle. My wife has leased many vehicles over the years, and her vehicles always came equipped with Michelin tires. I am happy to say " now I travel on Michelin's". In my opinion they are worth the money I spent.

I have always bought ...

I have always bought Michelin tires, but would not buy these again. I actually have LTX A/T tires, not LTX A/T2. I was in an accident last winter. I would not recommend these tires are road that have any rain or snow. They have no traction when wet. I lost my job and can not at this time replace them. I just have to drive extremely cautious when the weather is bad.

Get you some!

The new Michelin LTX A/T2 tires were installed on my 2011 4x4 Tundra a few months back, and I have to say these tires perform very, very well when I am off-road in the mud as well as being a great highway tire. I feel very confident on the highway with very wet roads. And, after 10k miles or so, there seems to be very little tire wear. Love them!

I woould buy this tire again!

These tires have performed well on my truck. I do a lot of trailering and wanted a tire that would wear well and give me good traction as well as be quiet on the road. I will be looking at these tires when I shop for tires for my wife's Yukon this fall.

Wrong OEM tires for Highway USE

I have a 2014 F250 Super Duty Diesel, 4 dr 8' box and tow a 35' RV and 20 ' flat bed. These tires wear quickly on the highway and and are down 2/32" in 11,000 km/6800 Mi (4000 km/ 2500mi with trailer). These tires should not be the factoy supplied tires...they should supply the M/S 2 instead and make these an option for more off road applications

LTX A/T2 great truck tires

I am running my second set of these tires and will continue to keep only these tires on my trucks. I use these tires both on road and off road in fields and pastures with a good ride and traction. The tires last and maintain good traction and a smooth ride in all weather conditions. After switching to Michelin tires a few years ago I will always buy Michelin. I do ask my tires shop to ensure the set of tires comes from the same manufacturer date. The first set had three with one date and the fourth tire was from another date and I noticed that the odd tire wore at a different rate then the other three tires.

100,000 Mile Tires!

I own a 1999 Toyota 4-Runner with 290,000 miles running on her third set of Michelin LTX A/T2 tires and a 2008 Nissan Titan with 135,000 miles which just received her second set of Michelin LTX A/T2 tires. Both vehicles are used off-road 25% of the time in our feral swine control business. I love the performance on and off-road in mud, rain and snow as well as the 100,000+ mile longevity on both medium and full-sized trucks. I have been using Michelin tires for 20 years and will NEVER put a different brand of tire on my vehicles. This is a fantastic product with awesome value and performance and I am loyal to this brand!

Mileage

I purchased a set of LTX AT Tires for my 2000 Silverado in 2002. These were advertised as 80,000 mile tires. Best tire I have ever purchased. Performance and tread wear was incredible. After rotating them every 5000 miles. Believe it or not I got 120,000 miles and 8 years from the tires before I needed new ones. Needless to say I purchased another set for the same truck. These are LTX AT2. Good tire but I do not seem to be getting the miles from these. Can you tell me why this is?

Michelin is the brand to buy

I bought these for my Chevrolet Tahoe approximately 3 years ago. They have been excellent. In the snow, the dirt, and excessive heat (110+). They are wearing so well, I expect to get more than the warranty states. I have experienced some slight cracking in the sidewall due to the vehicle being outside during all conditions but they have been checked and there is no chance of failure.

Increased my fuel eff. ...

Increased my fuel eff. about 2 mpg. on my 2500 Dodge. the 17/32 of tread shows no measureable amount of wear at 15k miles. These AT2's cost less than two other brands. Perfectly balanced, no bumps or vibrations, holds their air pressure. Brother-in-law purchased two sets of AT2's on my recommedation, his Ford 250 and GMC denali.
