Very Good Choice for our use.

We are at 67,500 on this set. I'm replacing them with same with plenty of miles left on them only because of a small piece of metal in one of them. MUCH better tire than the Firestones that came on truck new. Good all around tire...ride, quietness, fuel mileage and traction. I say good all around but I don't think this is an off-road tire. We tow a 12,000 lb 5th wheel camper and these tires do very well. That said I have been stuck in the mud...hey if you ain't been stuck, you don't know what the truck or tire will do. This is a 3/4 ton diesel truck but I have gotten 94,000 miles out of a set of ltx/Ms on an SUV. Just buy the right tire for the application. I won't use anything else.

Purchased the set for my ...

Purchased the set for my 1994 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. Awesome Tires! They are a little noisy, but it does not bother me. I recommended them to my father for his 2006 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton and he like them so much he purchased a set! I will continue to recommend to everyone I can!

Good Riding Tire, Dry Rot an issue

Bought these 7 years ago for my 2004 SIlverado HD. Great on snow, off-road and highway, although dry rot has forced me to replace them after seven years which started a couple of years ago. May be the Denver altitude and/or dry heat, disaapointed that I have to replace a tire that has over half its tread life left due to age.

Terrible Tires - Will Not Balance

These tires came standard on my new 2021 Tundra Limited, not balanced from the factory, dealer tried to balance prior to delivery. Terrible vibration in the steering wheel. Took to local tire store at 100 miles, they balanced and vibration was a little better. At 2,000 miles I returned to the dealer, they attempted to balance the original tires with a road force balance machine, could not balance and had to replace all four tires. Less than 100 miles later, another trip to local tire store to try and road force balance, no luck. Truck has less than 2,500 miles, two sets of Michelins, four attempts to balance, still will not balance. I would recommend another tire or brand. I have purchased many Michelins in the past, NEVER had this issue. Not sure of next steps just yet, very disappointed long time customer.

Impressed

These tires came stock on my 2011 F-150 XLT 4x4 with off road package. I'm already a fan of Michelin LTX as I had two sets on my 2003 4x4 Suburban, easily reaching 60k miles with rotation at approx. every 10k miles. At over 60k my tires still passed safety inspection here in Utah. As for the ATs, just got back from driving in the Maze district of Canyonlands, some of the worst regularly traveled roads in Utah. The tires were surefooted and gripped well from 4 high to 4 low with rear locker engaged on loose gravel, slickrock, sand, fording a river and everything in between, pitches reaching 16 degrees both uphill and downhill. Pretty amazed for a long stock 4 door 4x4 pickup.

Good Tires

I run these tires on a 2012 F350 4 door FX4. I pull a lot of trailers and i spend a good bit of time off road. The tires do ok in the mud being they are a AT tire they seem to do better in the sand then mud. But I have 35,000 miles on them and they need to be replaced. I am not sure if its due to the loads i pull or what. Ovall they seem to be a good AT tire

Michelin on my F-250 Super Duty 4X4 Dies

When choosing my tires I looked at just about everything, warranty, Sidewall Rating, Tread Design, and the look of the Tire itself along with the Price. I chose my Michelin LTX A/T2 because of several reviews and all of Tech Specs on these tires, I'm putting them on an F-250 4X4 Super Duty Diesel so I wanted This Major Investment to work well with my Truck. Now that they are on my Truck and have had the time to drive and check them out I must say I'm very impressed. They ride smooth, quiet, great handling on all surfaces and fantastic handling in the curves with this Big Truck. There is just 1 word to describe how much I like my new Michelin LTX A/T2 Tires, " Awesome"

Great Highway Tire, Decent Off-Pavement

We replaced the stock tires on our 2017 Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel with a set of these at about 38k miles. The Transforces were nearly bald. We started a year long journey travel nursing. We pulled a 9k lb bumper pull camper & had the camper shell & truck loaded full every time we moved. Overall, we pulled the camper about 10k miles, cross country. The tires performed well enough to get the camper into slick spots in the Redwood forests. We pulled the camper through some snow over the Rockies into Montana. While not moving campsites, we did plenty of road trips, ended up in sand & snow, & put a lot of dirt road miles on them. While not a true off-road tire, driven carefully, we got in & out of lots of places that really should have had a more capable vehicle. We are nearing the end of their life with 94k miles on the truck. They should hold true to their 60k mile warranty, plus 5k or so more. I always recommend these for highway/commuter trucks. They've been wearing good, rotating & balancing about every 15k miles. People are impressed when I tell them we are close to 60k miles on them with such a heavy truck. I only wish that Michelin made a commercial, true all-terrain. Being back home, the truck will spend more time in the fields & woods, while seeing a bit of commuting & towing. I need something a bit more aggressive. That being said, I chose the right tire for the job & we are happy.

Thank you for a great product!!!!!

On 2/1/14 my husband and I were involved in an accident with a semi. We had Michelin LTX AT2 10ply tires on our truck. They were about 3 years old. We skidded with the trailer for some distance. The front passenger tire was destoyed. We believe it was caught between his fender and tire of the semi. There was appoximately a 6 inch cut it the sidewall of the back one, but it was still holding air. You could smell the hot rubber. God was with us that day, as neither of us, had a scratch. Thank you for making a product that I am proud to own. Thank you for thinking about our safety. Sara Jane

Great truck tire

I purchased these tires for use in the high desert of Southwestern Idaho. They are excellent in the off road areas, strong with lots of traction. The bonus is they are not noisy on the highway and provide all the comfort I need without a ridged ride. My last set of tires were ruined by the same road conditions that I drive these on and the LTX A/T2's are holding up great. I would recommend the LTX A/T2 for any serious off road enthusiast, they are the best on and off road tires I have ever owned.
