EXCELLENT TIRE

I'm driving a Chevy Silverado 2500HD crew cab truck. Just over three years and hit 60000 miles. I have another 3/32" before hitting the wear bar. I'm looking at 70000 miles plus on these tires 265 70R 18 E before replacing. They performed here in New England in the snow and ice as well as off trail in some Western states. Exceeding warranty and listed performance on these tires. P.S. I've had Michelins and various other tires on previous truck types and hands down Michelin outperforms and outlasts them all.

Most durable tire

I work in Landfill pipeline so I spend as much time driving through mud and waste as I do pulling trailers on the highway. First experience, tires came stock on 2019 GMC 2500. In the bed I carried 100gal fuel cell and a full stocked tool box, the AT/2's lasted around 40k miles, during that time the road noise was very low and I only patched 2 tires. My company replaced those tires with a set of Geolanders, I could not hear the radio over the road noise. Second experience: 2020 Chevy 2500 LT, job box in the bed with roughly 500lbs of tools, I replaced 1 tire at 17k miles due to spinning and catching rebar. After that situation I used 4x4 even on dry dirt or gravel if the top few inches were loose. I have a 14k lbs flatbed trailer that I also pull loaded. I currently have 69.5k miles on the original tires without ever rotating the tires, I have not had to plug any tires. I travel from the Midwest to the gulf states in all weather types, the main thing you have to do to make these tires last is know their abilities and adjust your driving in those conditions. Front tires. 6-7/32 Rear tires. 5/32 Cons: traction when accelerating or braking is not great in slick conditions even with wet blacktop. Pros: Durable tire construction all the way around. Low road noise. Handles temperature fluctuations well when pulling trailers.

Bought them for F250 ...

Bought them for F250 Super duty, Use it to pull 32 ft. fifth wheel. Was skeptical of tire at first, (First time I ever bought a set of Michelin), am very impressed with them. Truck & trailer weigh together 20,000 lbs, had them for 5 years and 40,000 miles. No problems and they have at least 50% tread left.

nothing but amazing

Got 70,000 miles on m A/T2 and can still run these tires. Might replace them before winter is over. You can try other tires but Michelin is by far the best tire on the market. The A/T2 isn't the most aggressive looking off road cutting tire on the market, but if you spend most of your time on concrete yet still go off road which most of us do this is the tire to have.

Great on my Tundra

Went up to a 17" wheel on my 2005 Tundra but wanted the same speed readout so got the 265/65-17s and couldn't be happier. I don't do any serious off-roading so can't comment on that aspect, but they were as smooth as glass at 95mph on the freeway during an emergency run the the ER last week!

The best tires I ever bought.

I have found thru the years that Michelin tires are the best. I have had other brands that didn't last as stated. So now I will only put Michelin tires on my automobiles. This also is the brand I have on my Class A motorhome. The tires give me a great ride and improves my gas mileage. The tires last and wear well.

Don't waste your time

We bought a 2012 Ford F350 Crewcab, Shortbed, 4x4 Powerstroke one year ago. As of last night we have 25,100 miles on these tires; the ones that are suppose to get 60k, well the two rear tires are at the wear bars. I surely wouldn't think when you buy a new vehicle one should be replacing tires at 25k. The wear is terrible, the road noise is great, as is not there and the ride is very good. Something as to be done about the tire wear.....one year, REALLY!

Not near as good as the previous A/T’s

From what I’ve experienced, these have the off-road traction of a road tire & almost as much noise as an A/T tire. Road handling is just fine, dry or wet. Mud and snow, not so much. I sure wish they would bring back the original LTX A/T’s. I’d buy them in a heartbeat. I’ll be going to to the Bridgestone A/T’s.

Poor tread life

These came stock on 2013 f250 and I got about 32K miles on them. I serviced my truck at the dealership and I had the premium maintenance program so they rotated on schedule. I gave them another shot and my second set has lasted 38K miles. I am about to replace them again and I am having a hard time justifying these again.
