Ordered two four can packs of Black Top Pink Salmon. All eight of the canned Salmon arrived dented. Almost non existent packing. If more and better packing material I believe they would have arrived undamaged.

I was surprised that this salmon has tons of bones and skin on it! As a result, the dark fishy tasting part of the meat is included. Look disgusting. It does not state anywhere on the can label so just wanted buyers to be aware that it is parts of the whole fish.

aside from the damaged product received (which Sam's graciously refunded me), i opened one of the cans it smelled a off - and i know salmon, this was not right. upon looking at the contents it contained a lot of skin and bones inclding the spine. It would have been unusable. i threw away the can i opened amd will be donating the other three. Would NOT recommend.

I ordered 2 4-packs of this item, or 8 cans. I received 3 dented cans. I called customer service. They said I would receive a refund in 5-7 days. I did not receive the refund. I called customer again today. After being on hold for 45 minutes, my call was dropped. I opened 1 of the dented cans. The salmon had many bones in it. Some of the bones were 1/8" x 1/4" and looked like pieces of the spine. I would not feed this to a child for fear of choking. I tasted a piece of the salmon and it had no flavor.

Two cans of the salmon were badly dented. Otherwise the salmon tasted good.

I love making salmon croquettes, this is great for them.

I purchased this salmon to make my homemade dog food. Sam's always has a great price on it.

I as really eager to try this salmon. As soon as I opened the can I felt the urge to throw up. I never seen type any fish that had dark black meat in it. The spinal chord was laying on top of the salmon inside the can. it looked like it was removed and placed on top of the disgusting salmon.

I rarely write reviews but this time I had to. First, all 4 cans arrived severely dented as if someone repeatedly slammed them on the ground to see if they would burst open. Only one of the cans was attached to the black plastic holder. I thought I would give them a try. The can had a lot more water than usual and the salmon was very mushy with no firmness. Disgusting!! This is the worst salmon I have ever had.

I tried this product in hoping it would be similar to the Member's Mark Canned Atlantic Salmon, which is becoming hard to find. It's not remotely similar. The Member's Mark Salmon is like scraps of Salmon fillets you might get at a restaurant with big fleshy pink flakes. The Black Top is chunks of largely unprocessed raw fish cooked so much the skin is a smelly black gelatinous mess that you cannot completely remove.
