Don't put anything valuable on top.

The locking mechanism on the legs is faulty. One end of the table fell twice, destroying a new $300 gaming monitor and damaging my computer case. Just before each time, I made sure the sliding lock was down to keep the legs in place.

We sincerely apologize for your experience with the Cosco Deluxe Folding Table. Sometimes the legs can take a little oomph to get into position; there is a piece that slides down over the lock, but this is not nearly as important as ensuring that the legs are straight.
