Purchased three months ago. While washing, dropped the blade attachment in the sink, and a piece of the plastic broke off. This is unacceptable!

I was looking forward to using my new blender along with the recipes booklet that was supposed to come with the purchase. Was not there. Will not be purchasing anything else for now.

I purchased this Ninja blender a year ago, but I hardly used it until a month ago. One day, while making a smoothie, the blender started emitting an unpleasant burning odor, smoke came out from the inside, and my smoothie turned dark, tasted awful, and was undrinkable. Considering I have several other Ninja products in my kitchen, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of this blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most powerful blender I have ever owned!! It chopped through frozen berries with ease. I love how it comes with two cups for individual smoothies, milkshakes or whatever you choose. The cups are large so it makes plenty to share or save some for later. I have been without a blender for a while, I had forgotten how much I love smoothies and fresh pesto. I did have some issues. It is insanely loud. My other complaint is that the grooves where you screw the lid on are very hard to clean. I used a straw cleaner to get down into it and yet when it was dry, I still found dried smoothie. This is a huge concern to me, I worry about mold as well as dried food bits getting into what I make next. The performance is amazing, super fast with lots of power. You should also know the bottom of the unit has suction cups for stability-- they are mega strong. The cups are marked for measurements, the lid screws on tight. I did not experience any leakage. The cup was also easy to remove from the base when the smoothie was done. There are pre set buttons that add to the ease of use.
