It blends well and smoothly, especially smoothies. However, it requires a lot of liquid to get moving. I tried to blend basil leaves in it but the blades didn't cut through them. It's also way louder than I expected. Super easy to clean and convenient design though!

Starting with the pros, this unit is very powerful. In a single pulse the ingredients were already mixed. Leave it running and you are sure to get a well blended smoothie. We're all looking for something that will mix up a good smoothie and the Nutri Blender Pro does just that. Plus, I like the large 24 oz cups and the lids that come with them. But the sound... I was looking for a unit to make smoothies at work, so it was important that I got something on the quiet side, and this is NOT it. This unit is LOUD. After a single pulse trying it at work I immediately had to stop as it sounded like a construction site. I brought it home to use yet it blends at such a high volume I can't possibly use it in the morning if my partner is sleeping. I take it into the bathroom and drape a towel over it! Even if you want to use it while hosting a party, this unit will drown out your guests nearby. It's not exactly a "fun" blended drink maker if it sounds like a jet is taking off from the kitchen. I am not exaggerating. Lastly, the unit uses suction cups on the bottom that are clearly not meant to be removable. I tugged at one and it felt pretty fixed (maybe I have to read the specs again). I want a blender that I can stow away in a cabinet and not have out as a kitchen counter fixture. It is annoying to pull the base up every time and I have to store it upside down so I can pull it out quickly. Overall, this unit is "clunky" and just too loud for comfort. I am pretty sure I am going to return this and keep researching quieter blenders.

I bought this blender after some research into different personal blenders on the market. My previous bullet-style blender did not have enough cup capacity and wattage to get the job done. I would constantly find the motor would get too hot and short out. This blender has plenty of power to get through anything! I also love it has different size cups but they all fit the same blender blade base. Auto-IQ is an amazing function and has taken ALL guesswork out of blending drinks.

I bought this about a month ago when my prior Ninja stopped performing optimally that was gifted to me 7 years ago. Right there they last a really long time! Love the pulse and automation of making smoothies features. You can set it and go about your time working on other things in the kitchen. I also like the suction cup to help stabilize the blender as well. No regrets on this purchase. I would honestly recommend you purchase this product.

I’ve bought a ninja blender before with the smaller blend ups and they are good but like all the others this one isn’t good at blending frozen fruit without slipping and motor burn smell. It won’t last long if you put large chunks of fruit in it and make frozen smoothies. I put half a banana into it and some frozen sliced strawberries along with some yogurt and soy milk and it slipped just like my old unit. It gets hung up and you have to pick the whole unit up and shake it to make it keep blending, otherwise the motor burns up and the bl under lid will strip. This could be made better for frozen drinks.

I bought This about a month definitely helped us the magic bullet that I had previously. I mainly use it for hot liquids and I know that is not the intention so I tried to cool it down first but so far I have had no problems and it has blended with perfection.

This blender and blade will last a lifetime if you hand wash it but if you put the cups in the dishwasher the heat will shrink the plastic and your blades won’t screw on right anymore. It’s very easy to hand wash though so i find it’s only a mild inconvenience. If you find yourself not being able to screw on the lids after the dishwasher, don’t try and force them because the cups will start shedding plastics pieces and it could crack the blade. The cups just need to be replaced. The blade and blender all still work fine!

Durability is the problem. I’m on my third machine in a year and half. Hopefully the replacement I received this time will last longer. I use half cup frozen berries, half fresh banana and my almond milk and protein powder. No ice. No big chuncks . It blend that easily. The consistency is nice when it works properly. Nice smoothie. Crossing my fingers.

My initial thoughts of the Ninja Nutri pro blender BN-401 was, that it was just worth purchasing. It has more than surpassed my expectations. Mixing my morning protein drink, is 180° from what I was doing previously. The smoothness and the creaminess of the drink is just amazing...

I love this one! My old one was smaller and was starting to not work as well because it got a lot of use. This one is so much nicer and more powerful! I love that it automatically pulses on smoothie mode. It holds a lot more too! I’ve had it for a couple months now we are all loving it!
