I have this tire on a 2000 F350 Superduty with a super cab. Every tire I've had on the front of this truck has been toast by 35,000. Terrible feather on the side treads, just worn out. I have 39,000 on the Defenders and they are in great shape with even treadware all the way across. Only half way.

3.7 star average is nuts! I have had 2 sets of Defenders on my Ford Expedition. Nothing else compares! Amazing tread life - 70k is true. Amazing traction - WV mountains no slip, no slide, will go anywhere. Amazing quiet ride. The only tire to buy for your SUV - bare none!

When I purchased my last vehicle it had realtively new Michelin tires on it. I was so impressed with the durability and wear that when it cam time to replace them I stuck with Michelin's. There are just some things that you have to buy and realize that you get what you pay for, and in my opinion that tires are the biggest safety factor on a vehicle.

I've changed the tires that came w/ my Honda Pilot to the LTX M/S. We drive onto the beach in DE, w/ 6 other families. We all have these tires. From my stand point; there are 2 big pluses I have seen. When driving onto the beach I only have to drop the pressure down to 25 psi and most of the time I don't have to drive in 4x4. The second feature is the way these tire handle in the wet weather, one word AWESOME! I would recommend thses to a friend, because friends have highly recommened them to me.

Installed on my new 2012 Chevy Conversion Van. I put 20,000 Miles on since last Aug 22nd. Did a long trip tp CA. DROVE 10,000 Miles. Tire looks great on my van they really fill the wheel well. The ride was great and they still look like new. Very satisfied with this tire and will buy them again.

Superior difference in handling when on the road and at high speeds. Very smooth and better handling than the replaced Michelin tires that came from the factory. They look good and a bit more aggressive. So far very pleased with the tires and extremely happy with Discount Tires in Sioux Falls, SD. Our rep, Todd, went way out of his way to help us with the cost of our tires.

This is my 3rd set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires. They last a long time! I rotate them every 6000 miles. They handle well in wet and snowy conditions. My vehicle tracks better with Michelin tires. I have them on my Suburban and my 2500 HD. both "E" rated. They're great no matter what the task, from hauling just myself around to fully loaded with passengers and luggage, to towing my 32' travel trailer. These tires are quiet as well. I have had many other tire brands, some good some bad, but Michelin are the best and well worth the little extra they cost.

A few years back, I kept replacing the tires on my Tahoe every 20-30K miles then a friend told me about Michelin tires. I now have Michelins on all my vehicles not only they ride super in wet or dry conditions but they last upwards of 60K miles. The savings and the security is worth every penny threefold. I bought the Michelin Defender LTX M/S 275/55R20 for my 2016 Chevy Tahoe LT. These tires completely changed the Ride, Control, and Stability of my wife’s vehicle in Rain and on Dry surfaces here in South Louisiana. I liked these tires so much that I put a set on my 2016 Silverado Crew Cab Defender LTX M/S 275/50R22, All I can tell you is what a difference in the way my truck rides, handles, and tracks on any given road conditions. These tires are pricey, but in the long run they will pay for themselves.

I put a set of LTX M/S tires on my 1994 chevy pick-up ten years ago. I have plowed snow, towed a camper, towed a boat and towed a dirt bike trailer. The tires have performed great under all of those conditions. They have good traction without being noisey on the highway but the best thing is they wear like iron! The tires have over 100,000 miles and still have 4/32 of tread left. I'm in the process of rebuilding the truck for my son so it looks like its time for a new set of Michelins.
