This dutch oven is beautiful! I love how evenly it cooks at just medium temperature. The design is smooth and appealing to the eye. Handles are large enough to grasp with potholders and the lid fits snug. I chose to season the cast iron which shows at the seam where the lid and top meet and it looks great! Very happy with this purchase at this price point.

Love the color and how solid it is, a little disappointed that on both sides of the dutch oven, just below the handles, there is black paint that wasn't removed and cannot be removed now. It doesn't affect the function of the oven but doesn't look nice either.

I had been shopping for a cast iron dutch oven for a long time but just couldn't bring myself to pay the high prices. When I saw this one, I did a bit a research and learned Tramontina is a quality brand and the price from Sam's was an amazing deal. It's too soon to determine the durability but so far, it's worked well for cooking and cleans up nicely.

I've made broths, soups, and chilis in this. Love it! It's heavy!!
