I brought this same pot for myself from another retailer for more about a year ago. Then I seen it at Sam's Club cheaper and brought my best friend one. She "LOVED" it.... My daughter now wanted one, so I went to Samsclub.com and was surprised they still had them, and at a awesome price. So with free shipping offered I decided to place an order. I ordered this to use temporarily while our household items are in storage while we move cross country and look for a house. I love my E H pots and really missed them. This one works just as well but is much cheaper. I picked the purple color for fun and am loving how modern it looks. Buy this! You will not be disappointed.

I make jam, chutney, and marmalades in this beauty. Far less scotching than in my stainless steel dutch oven. Easy to clean. If it does scorch on the bottom I boil about 2 quarts of water, at 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the water. The scorch will flake off. Repeat if necessary. I never use metal utensils on the enamel. Very pleased with the price, it preforms as well as the French version.

I have purchased several types of enamel coated cast iron Dutch Ovens. Different sizes, different makes. I needed a large one so decided to try the Tramontina as it was such a good price. I made soup in it last week; came out great, and an easy cleanup. This is a great value, especially when comparing to higher priced dutch ovens.

I have several different brands of enameled cast iron pots and pans as well as non-enameled cast iron pots and pans and I love these enameled ones from Sam's Club! This is the second one I've purchased from Sam's Club, different sizes, and I use them all the time! They are easy to clean and easy to take care of. I do rub a little oil around the edge of the pot and the lid where there is no enamel to keep it from rusting after every washing. I love the red color and have all of my red enamel cast iron pots and pans lined up by size in my pantry. These look and function just as good as the more expensive brand.

Used according to temp. guidelines to bake bread and it showed cracks in enamel inside and discoloration on outside. Tramontina cust. service said baking bread was considered dry use and since i didn't add oil or something to bottom of pot I had voided the warranty. Bought Jan 2025. They let themselves out of honoring warranty. There were no instructions or warnings about bread baking could damage pot enamel. And pictures show bread baking as a feature. Who adds oil to pot you are baking bread in?

I used this pot to cook homemade soup and could not have been happier with its performance snd its cleanup!!!

I own several of three Tramontina dutch ovens. They are quality for a fair price. Great for baking bread and slow braising.
