Don't buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine gives constant u5 errors when washing sheets. It wads them up in a ball, no matter how you place them in the washer. It's like the impellers are to small. It's not anything as good as my old lg.

One major miss otherwise good washer

Just purchased. Very quiet washer compared to our old one. Washes fine no major complaints other than a major anti-consumer feature in that the preset values (water temp, spin duration, etc) can only be overridden for the current cycle and those changes will NOT be saved. So the next time you run a load you have to remember to manually change those settings. This is our 4th front loader in the last 20 years and the only one that doesn't remember setting changes between loads. No idea why. Seems like major miss by LG in an otherwise great washer.

Keeping It Clean With LG

This is the first LG washer I've ever purchased and Like the french door refrigerator (LMXS28626D), it's also just as amazing! The 5.0 tub instead of the 4.5 allows us to clean just a little bit more with each cycle, and that means less loads over all. Quiet, great features and a spin cycle that really gets the water out. Would def buy again!

9 Day Old Washer Leaking into Pedestal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 9 Days Old, Now leaking into Pedestal Drawer. Water running into drawer, not in the back. What fun. Brand new washer, leaking. I have a lemon. Are all the 3470's lemon's? No error codes. All hoses tight. Drain hose new and draining. Filter assembly checked, and tight.

Simple, cold wash tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st day using this machine. I studied this for 6 months, paid attention to every detail, looked for the limited features I actually wanted and mulled over size, finally deciding on this huge baby. Next, getting familiar by washing 6 big bath towels. Success. Then a tub clean with a Tide cleaner packet. While the tub still smells "new" the clothes coming out are immaculate. Let's hope this keeps up. I highly suggest watching the videos on YouTube, they are very helpful.

Moldy Health Hazard

Unit gets moldy. Have thoroughly cleaned the detergent dispenser, gasket and drum and still smells moldy and gives me a headache when near it. Will likely get rid of it for a top load washer that doesn’t have a detergent dispenser.

Still eating clothes each load.

This is our 3rd front load washer in the last 25 years. In all that time, one would think that the companies could figure out how to prevent the machine from putting little holes all throughout lighter fabrics.
