I put this in a Glencairn whisky glass to truly taste it. It's a wonderful mellow neat sipping bourbon. Would not mix it with sweet things like Gingerale other than an old-fashioned or maybe a mint julep. This one is worthy to drink neat or in a traditional Manhattan. A lot of bang for the buck. This is definitely one of the better neat sipping bourbons for the price.

I have tried a lot of bourbons but Jim beam is my absolute favorite. My favorites where devils cut and red stag. But I just got a bottle of the black and I definitely was not disappointed! This is definitely my new clean sipping bourbon!!!

I am not a huge fan of the sour mash taste. I prefer smoother, oak notes. It is still a better quality than cheaper bourbons and some people may enjoy the taste, however, it's just not for me.

I just saw this bourbon in my local store and got it recommended for being extra smooth and tasty. Well, the seller was right. Jim Beam Black is definitely the best tasting bourbon for my mouth. Nuff said.

This is a very smooth drink to be 90 proof. It has earned a spot in my bourbon bar. Having a neat glass now while answering this email. I like to try different brands occasionally when I go to the state store but I always go back with JB

This is the best bourbon under $50 you can buy. One of the smoothest bourbons I've tasted. I typically drink Woodford Reserve or Eagle Rare until I tried this. I buy a bottle every two weeks now.
