Some bolts were easily cross threaded. I bought a die to fix and it helped. Takes 3 adults to erect in my book. Good heavy duty item and looks great.

Fast shipping, great packaging. Super nice pergola. I put it up by myself in one day, which was a challenge, physically, but the instructions were easy to follow and the project moved quickly.

Looks very nice. Overall satisfied, however, I had to cut two pieces to make them fit the holes. Also, the concrete anchors need to be re-considered. Difficult to install; perhaps another kind of anchor.

Took 3 guys about 4 hours to fully assemble. No warped or damaged wood, plenty of extra screws/hardware. Would definitely recommend. Would highly suggest cover the top with shade cloth or as I did a rippled fiberglass roof.

Product was easy to install and looks great! I modified mine to fit over my outside bar and barbeque. All bolts match up and I was very surprised how sturdy the pergola is.

We love our pergola. It is great quality. Putting it together was quite the task, but all the pieces are already cut. There were a few holes that just didn't line up, but it was easily fixed by my husband. I highly recommend picking up the product from the store, and NOT using the Sam's Club delivery service. The pergola is great though and we love having the added shade and interest to our back porch.

My review is that I live in Texas and in the past 18 years I have used some sort of canopy over the years and had to replace them because of strong winds. This one is put up and cemented in the ground and it will take something stronger then a strong wind to move it. It was simple to assembly and it did take longer then the time stated in the book but now if I did a second one I think there would not be any problem . I think it is outstanding. I have had some very good comments from friends. I should not have to replace this one.

I love this pergola! It was easy to put together as it was already precut and stained. Looks awesome next to our pool. I was nervous about if the stain would hold up during the winter, but it looks brand new. This pergola was much cheaper than buying one from Menards or Home Depot. Love it and would definitely recommend it to others!

Decent materials, extra hardware that is pretty good, except for the long bolts which, as has been said, occasionally cross thread. Put it up in about six hours with a helper for two of them. As for the pine comment, it smells like cedar to me, and appears lighter than comparable pine. I expect it to weather and fade, but I will not be using a sealer - would rather stain it once a year. If you insist on anchoring it, you must be guarding against a hurricane or a tornado.
