[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look: The first thing I noticed about this dishwasher was that it was very modern looking. I like how the information is projected onto the front of the dishwasher. The fingerprints are minimal compared to other stainless steel appliances. Performance: This dishwasher is able to clean all my dishes easily and quietly. If my TV is on I have a hard time telling if the dishwasher is running. The dishwasher also opens when the cleaning is finished, at first I closed it because I didn't want my 1-year-old to open it and grab something out but I noticed that when it's closed it won't dry well. I now run it in the evening and leave it open when it's done and the dishes are able to dry easily. Technology: This dishwasher is able to connect to wifi so that you can get notifications when the was is complete, you can also configure your wash remotely. I was able to connect it to my wifi but unable to get it working with the smartthings app. Will contact support soon to get some help.

bad: 1. difficult to install. needs either 1 inch more clearance on the left side or 2-3 inches in the back to account for the water inlet hose. this was the main reason for my low score. it was very difficult and i've done this before. 2. takes 2 hrs to wash 3. doesn't clean well 4. delivery people didn't unbox, leading to one of the plastic feet to get broken good: 1. attractive 2. very quiet, can't hear it when watching tv 6 ft away in the next room 3. pops open at the end of a cycle to air dry 4. allows delay start neutral: 1. the app tells me when my cycle is done and how much time is left on the wash

Redid my whole kitchen in samsung black stainless. Fingerprint proofing is a joke. All the plastic gets so hot it bends inside and all the stupid useless features fall off. Drawers slide in and out rough need to line it up perfectly. Had best buy swap it out twice.

It's VERY quiet and can't even tell it's running. Love the adjustable top rack and the 3rd rack for little things. Cleans dishes very well and leaves them spot-free. Only down side it that the run cycle is longer then most dishwashers.

We always use the auto cycle which determines the wash length based upon how soiled the dishes are and everything always ends up perfectly clean. We only rinse large food particles off of dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and never see any left over food residue. The zone booster works well for items with baked on food residue. Overall the dishwasher runs very quiet which is important to us because our kitchen is open to our family room. The two most pleasant surprises about this dishwasher are 1) the fingerprint proof black stainless steel which always looks clean and 2) the air dry feature which drys the dishes effectively without the intense heat from a heating element. This allows us to put more heat sensitive items in the dishwasher and on any shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased the Samsung DW80R9950US to replace an older dishwashing system we had in place for approximately 5-6 years now. The Samsung is extremely quiet. I thought our last dishwasher was quiet. This beautiful piece of machinery is significantly quieter. The only time we ever know its on is when it is draining water out of it or when it plays a nice little tune when the wash completes to alert you of being finished. Speaking of being alerted when the wash finishes, you can also connect the DW80R9950US to your wireless network and get notified via the Samsung mobile app when your dishes are clean. This is certainly helpful if you're not in the same room and need to know when your wash finishes so that you can empty it and be ready for the next round. We have loaded this dishwasher up with all types of eating utensils and cooking products and all have been washed clean with no extra effort. The very top rack is very useful for the kids cup's lids and straws that you don't want to lose during a wash or get near the bottom level where it can sometimes get hotter. The stainless steel finish with the ability to keep fingerprints down to a minimum is a much improvement from our last system. We've hardly had to clean the outside of this dishwasher since we got it since it take quite a bit for it to get dirty or smudgy. The racks inside the washer are similar to your current or previous dishwashers and hold a significant number of plates, pans, cups, or whatever you want to get clean and keep the number of washes to a manageable number rather than having to do multiple loads after a big party. This Samsung is exactly what you're looking for. It's quiet, it's smart, and it is strong. It's all the qualities you want from your next generation dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my Samsung Linear Wash Dishwasher and it was a huge upgrade when doing kitchen chores. First off lets talk about how it looks. The dishwasher has a very clean and modern look that fits in with my other stainless steel appliances. The stainless steel is also fingerprint resistant and I have yet to have a single finger print show up! All the controls are also hidden at the top while being easy to read and interact with. However, this dishwasher is not all about ascetics. It also packs a punch while staying whisper quite in operation. Gone are the days of noisy washing in the background and now we can have dinner or watch a movie without having the sound of the dishwasher in the background. On top of super quite aspects the dishwasher has 2 additional features I just LOVE. One is the cycle clock counts down the exact time left on the front so you know how long you have left. Second, if you are not around to open the dishwasher when the cycle is complete the door will automatically pop open to circulate air. This not only keeps your dishwasher from getting musty, but also dries the dishes faster. I can't stress out OUTSTANDING this feature is as you can now run the dishwasher before you leave out of town and not worry about musty clean dishes. The features inside are a strong linear power washing system that features booster settings to get even the dirtiest dishes clean. The inside also features 3 adjustable racks that give you a ton of storage. The bottom rack is designed for larger items like plates, pots, large bowls, etc. The second drawer is designed for smaller items and all your glassware. This drawer adjusts up or down depending on how big your plates are on the bottom. The final drawer is the silverware drawer at the top. I love this setup as it makes it easy to unload, but I could also see people not liking it since it takes more time to load. The drawer is however removable and you can use the silverware basket on the bottom drawer instead. Only negative thing I can even think about is I can't use my large plates plus stemmed/traditional wine glasses and the 3rd drawer due to the height clearances...but that is why they make stemless wine glasses. All and all I am in love with my new upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so my husband finally let me get a crack at running this beast of a machine. I had to call him over to ask if the thing was working cause it is so quiet lol. We've owned a samsung dishwasher previously, but nowhere near as quiet as the DW80R9950 washer. This wash consists of basic cleaning with minimal hardened food left on dishes. I only used the main two racks and put the silverware in the bottom rack holders. Everything fits so well and easily, and there is also a space for pots or pans to fit in without difficulty. We always do the quick wash setting unless there is extra dirty dishes that need attention. One thing that threw us off a little bit was how the dishwasher opens the door a few minutes prior to completion. That is a designed feature to assist with drying. I did all the programming directly on the washer, whereas my husband likes to use the smart things app. If I did not mention prior, the fingerprint resistance is a big plus! And lastly, the chime reminder at the end of the wash cycle is perfect to assist in notifying that things are complete. All in all, I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.
