I bought this dishwasher for the decibel level. My kitchen is open to the family room where we watch tv and never again will I need to turn up the tv when running the dishwasher! It truly is whisper quiet, cleans superbly and I love the three racks. It is so funny to see my wife jump if she is grabbing something out of the kitchen and the dishwasher drains! The sound of water rushing down the drain is the loudest part.

I am able to load the dishwasher and watch its progress off the SmartThings app. It has convenient roscos that adjust for different sized items. I love that you can use the silverware baskets at the bottom OR the tray that slides out on the very top.

let's start with the positives: amazingly quiet! we had to check to make sure it was actually on. i also don't understand the complaints about cleaning. our glasses, plates, silverware, pots/pans look amazing. the negatives: even though you can adjust the upper rack, it is difficult to efficiently fit glasses and small plates. the examples given in the owners manual are useless. the bottom rack does not close smoothly and you have to play around with both racks to get the door to close securely (and we do not overfill nor are there objects obstructing the door).

Trays have adjustable components to accommodate lots of variations and it's so quiet that I had to let the family know it was running because they could not hear it from the next room. And, the Tuscan Stainless goes will with the color scheme of the kitchen.

I was a little skeptical at first due to some of the reviews I had read regarding this dishwasher, but I'm so glad we chose to upgrade our dishwasher. The very first cycle, I actually had to put my ear up to the dishwasher to make sure it was working as it so much quieter than our previous dishwasher! We used to have to cut the TV up when our old dishwasher was running due to the noise when it was running. The Samsung dishwasher is so sleek and modern looking and I love that it can be connected via WiFi and I can actually control it from anywhere and it alerts me when the cycle is complete. So far I only have great things to say about this particular model. I've also noticed this model has a lot more room than my old model and it's great having the top shelf for large size spoons, knives, utensils, etc. It's great to finally have a dishwasher that does what it's meant to do!

unit is quiet, cleaning is okay. my kitchen was turned over to me on 12/31/2020. prior to writing this review, my wife just asked me if i used rinse aid last night. is the dispenser out already? after 10 days? the wifi capability was attractive, however, it has yet to connect to my network after several attempts daily and two calls to support. buy it because you like the color. forget any of the bells and whistles. as for the rinse aid, i guess i'll start adding a cup of vinegar each load.

i have had this dishwasher for 6 months now. every time i use it since the first day it was installed, i have to use the heavy mode to remotely get my dishes cleaned. the top rack doesn't stay pulled out to put dishes in. i have to keep pulling it back out after each dish i put in. the third rack doesn't clean my utensils at all! they dont fit in the silverware bins even with the top rack raised all the way up. and when i raise the top rack up with bowls or small plates, they get stuck to the 3rd rack. the black "stainless steel" doesn't clean well with stainless steel cleaner, it is always smudged. i wish i would have went with another brand, but i also bought the fridge and the microwave to match. i guess that's what happens when a deal is too good to be true.

Bought this fancy Samsung dishwasher with all the fancy little "functions" is not impressive. Trays are nice and it washes dishes--That's it for Samsung! So did dishwasher back in the 20th Century, but unlike the high-priced units today the oldies actually operated to make our life convenient. Other high and low end brands dry dishes and provide drying controls. Meaning they Wash & Dry dishes, unlike this unit that leaves everything WET. Doesn't matter cycle mode or rinse aid because Samsung engineers did not bother to design any drying controls for its tinny tiny little fan, instead they jokingly added a auto-door opener... LOL! Really in this century we have to "open the door" to try to DRY dishes, really? Actually it's ludicrous to wake up into your modern Samsung Kitchen, turn on Family Hub, and have to have dishwasher door hanging open, then pull out trays with WET DISHES. Not Convenient! Samsung needs to think better and advance this technology to be real-life as practical as its other appliances. Add more alerts, colored LEDs to give us status at-a-glance for rinse aid (green=full, yellow=low, red=empty), bigger vent and fan, more intuitive buttons, and Drying Controls that actually dry dishes to sparkle every cycle no matter how full. Value in review only 3 STARS: one for Style, one for Quietness, one for Wash.
