Previous GoodNites version was much better, new version are disappointing!!!

Having been using GoodNites for years, the previous version was the best so far. The new underwear-like fit ones are too much like the Pampers Underjams now, and I get complaints from my son that they feel like he's constantly getting a wedgie but lower down... I think this is because of the shortened width of the stretchy sides, and why my son don't like them so much any more. I agree with the other person who commented here about how it's not all about the thinnest pull-ups, but ones that fit right and don't leak. We are experiencing leaks with the new version and it's made my son upset. PLEASE go back to the previous versions, which were much better fitting. My son would rather have a little thicker padding, higher sides and pull-ups that fit right rather than bunch up, are uncomfortable and leak. I also agree that there should be a larger size, especially if there's plans of NOT going back to the previous version... Perhaps a larger size would better fit and fix the issue areas that the new improvements seem to be having. I'm considering calling in for a refund or some kind of replacement since these new ones just don't seem to be the thing like they used to. And PLEASE make the Spiderman graphics available on the larger sized Goodnites... I know of a few kids know that would love them besides my own... I DO and WOULD recommend the previous version of Goodnites. I WOULD NOT and DO NOT recommend the new version at all.

Finally a XXL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Goodnites for listening to the parents asking for a larger product. These fit my 16 year old son very well. I am shocked at how large they are and seem to absorb more than the XL as we have had no leaks in the 4 nights he has used these.

quality changed

ive been buying good night now for a while my 2yr old is autistic and were having problems finding the size we need by the case, we ordered s/m and they were ok but its not as stretchy as before. its only fair to have pull ups for solid kids too, the pull ups squeezed him till it cut into his size while he slept, he's non verbal so he can't let me know if he's hurt, i was disappointed but im trying him with a bigger size to see as i said hes only 2.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, lattysaw. Nothing matters more than providing a comfortable nighttime underwear that you and your child can count on to keep him protected at night and feeling rested and confident in the morning. Because we haven’t made any changes to our S/M Goodnites® Nighttime Underwear and we care about your son’s well-being, we’d like to take an opportunity to learn more about your experience and find out how we can help. Can you please send us an email at https://www.goodnites.com/en-us/contact-us or by phone at 1-877-601-6483 (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM CST)? In the meantime, we’re glad to hear you’ll be trying the larger size on him. It might help to know that the weight range for the next size up (L/XL) is between 60-125+lbs, so if you’re thinking the S/M size might be too snug, we’d agree that giving this next one a try would be a good idea. We look forward to hearing back from you about your experience though. Talk soon!

Please make a larger size for special needs children

As the parent of a child with special needs, we have used your product for years. As a teenager he has long outgrown diapers and transitioned to the goodnites as he grew as they were the only product on the market that fit him well, had good absorbency and were thin and discreet vs the other options for his size. We have reached the point where he is outgrowing the largest size of goodnites and and we are unable to find any product that works or fits him. Please consider making a larger size for the special needs population as well as for any children that need a larger size brief that is thin, discreet and works well. I personally do not care for the new stretchier sides that we have been currently receiving. The older versions worked much better for my child. These appear to be shorter as well and the fit is not as good and he has many more leaks that with the older versions. Even with the fit not being the best they are still leaps and bounds better than anything else I have found or tried for our son. A larger size with more coverage on the backside would be an amazing relief for so many parents. Especially those of us with special needs children who have such limited options for products for our children's incontinence. Please seriously consider expanding your line to a larger product. The need is very real and in high demand. Just scanning your reviews I saw comment after comment asking for a larger size as well. It appears I am far from alone in needing a decent product for my growing child. Please help us fill this need and expand your product line. Thank you.

great product!

I have tried another product before switching to GoodNites and I must say GoodNites is by far the most absorbent and well fitted night pants. I really like the TruFit underwear. My son likes them and hes less likely to wet his pants because those are his "special" undies =)

Leaks due to improper fit.

I noticed small gaps in the front area while my son is wearing these. It appears it is caused from the sides. Couldn't you put tabs on the side like the Huggies Little Movers and Pull Ups that can allow the wearer to adjust the fit? My son is 10 and prefers Pampers size 7's over these for the single fact they don't leak. He would rather wear a baby diaper and wakeup dry. Also, the Pampers size 7's appear to be bigger than the L/XL Goodnites. Why is a baby diaper bigger than a pull up designed to fit a 125lb kid?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the fit of our GoodNites bedtime pants and we want to take a moment to clarify the distinction between the uses of our various products. GoodNites bedtime pants are not designed for kids who are in the potty training process, but instead, they are created for children who are potty trained but are experiencing nighttime bedwetting. It’s for this reason that they look and feel so close to cotton underwear and are without the side fasteners – to mimic that cotton underpants feeling and motions so it can help boost a child’s confidence during this period. While our GoodNites bedtime pants in size L/XL do typically fit children up to 125 lbs, we understand that the individual shape of your son may influence the size he ultimately needs to stay dry at night. Our Consumer Care team would like to work with you to gather more information about your son’s nighttime experiences so we can find a better solution for your entire family. Please consider working with our team either online at or http://bit.ly/2cVqZxt by phone at 1-877-601-6483 (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm CST) and mention the referral code "SM". We look forward to getting you all back to sleep. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really great. I received the GoodNites product free for sampling purposes, but all opinions are your own. My son is a heavy sleeper and was born with kidney issues so sometimes he isn't woken up with the urge to go and these have not only helped his self esteem but helped keep his bed dry. We will be using these as long as needed and feel confident knowing they really do work!

Exceeds Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've done multiple tests with these to try out the limitations and they were primarily done with my oldest. I also had him wear one all day to test out the feel, fit, and comfort. Oldest son (16yrs) Height: 5'9 Weight: 198Ibs Sleep: Stomach sleeper, moves a lot in his sleep Leaks?: None Comments: He said they were extremely comfortable, didn't feel like he was wearing a pull-up, and honestly forgot he was wearing one early on in the day. Because of his slightly larger weight/build he hasn't been able to wear the XL's reliably for a while now, so he's been forced to wear adult pull-ups, which I'm sure most are aware are less than ideal. He is VERY excited for these, and can't wait for them to start being sold. Even with him being 198Ibs which is out of the weight range, there was still more than enough room and they weren't tight at all. His only complaint was, in his words "a very bland design". Comfort: 10/10 Capacity: 10/10 Feel: 10/10 Fit: 10/10 Design: 4/10

Goodnites Are Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goodnites are my go-to for bedtime. They are comfy and provide adequate protection from leaks. The designs are nice and the quality of the materials are the best on the market. I like the fact the boy's pants are blue with camo/striped underwear-like prints. Goodnites are also really discreet so they aren't really noticeable even under snug fitting pajamas. They fit and feel is just like underwear which makes them comfortable to wear for a full night's sleep. They can help your child be more independent and able to manage bedwetting on their own. Simply tear away the sides of the diaper and dispose in the morning.

Sturdy strong underwear for bedwetting

This is the only brand i buy for my 3 year old son. He is a taller boy and this fits true to his weight and height. Its perfect. They are great for bedwetting and daytime wear (we use them for long distance in case of emergency). He will not wear any other brand. He finds these to be the most comfortable.
