[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Chardonnay was our favorite of the night. In comparison to the classic and 100% Chardonnay varieties. Can pick up on the brown spice, toasted oak, and vanilla. Served with a charcuterie board of cheeses, meats, crackers, dips, fruits, and vegetables. Really tasty with Brie, but especially enjoyed the blueberry and vanilla goat cheese.

We enjoyed a glass with a charcuterie board filled with flavored goat cheeses, meats, manchago and a baby Swiss. I will definately purchase this wine in the future especially with my salmon recipe.

This was everyone’s favorite, we loved the aromatic butter taste, and each sip it left a nice taste in your mouth. We paired it with an almond cheese ball, mixed nuts and fruits. I would say it has a slight acidic taste that reminded me of liquor just a touch. Overall I would definitely purchase this again or from a restaurant. The price point was also reasonable and affordable.

We could definitely smell and taste the apples and vanilla with strong spiced flavors that paired very well with our roasted chicken and mango. Wasn't a fan of the bold oaky after taste although the bitterness did get less with the 2nd glass. Overall a good wine just not for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delightfully surprised with the not so buttery taste. It was not bitter but I did taste grapes! The smell was a cross of citrus and grape. I did crave a red meat with it. We ended up having cheese burgers with it, and in a strange way it worked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Buttery Chardonnay from Robert Mondavi is almost a dessert wine. It has fragrant scents of caramel and pineapple. While sweet on the tongue, with hints of nectarine and apple, the toasted butter flavor is followed on the back of the tongue with a slight acidic bite. I paired mine with a mild Italian sausage with sautéed peppers and onions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my preferred Robert Mondavi chardonnay so it was the one I wanted to share first because it is fabulous and pairs well with fruit especially pineapple, mango and kiwi and various cheeses. If you have not tried this brand before this would be the one I would recommend. Enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This golden California wine opens with aromas of brown spice, vanilla, and oak. 100% malolactic fermentation bestows notes of butter, and enhances the wines body and complexity. It’s lush, concentrated flavors of ripe apple and white peach pairs well with roasted chicken, creamy pasta dishes, grilled salmon, and blue cheeses. My absolute favorite by Robert Mondavi Wines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buttery Chardonnay: this Buttery Chardonnay was definitely less acidic than the Classic Chardonnay. The vanilla aroma was intoxicating. I paired it with a light green salad with ripe mango and feta cheese. The combination of the creaminess of the cheese, the sweetness of mango and the fresh greens were enhanced and made better by the Buttery Chardonnay with its notes of butter, and touches of brown spice, toasted oak, and vanilla aromas. It was a pair made in wine heaven. They perfectly complemented each other. In my opinion, the buttery chardonnay pairs really well with light dishes, such as roasted chicken, salmon, and salad. I’m going to try it with crème brulee next time, because with the wine’s components I think the dessert will taste even better. I would definitely be stocking up on this rich and flavorful Buttery Chardonnay by Robert Mondavi Private Selection.
