What a disappointment. Shoulder pain, upper back pain, and hot. Mattress is cool when you climb into bed, but after a few minutes the mattress is getting very warm. This causes me to toss and turn. I bought this at a retail shop and can't return it so I'm stuck with a mattress that is hot and uncomfortable. I called S&F's customer support and told me to buy a cooling mattress topper. Oh joy, more money to spend to fix their crummy mattress design. Makes you wonder if they did product testing. Overpriced. This mattress may end up on curb.

I thought it was fine, but was excited to try something new. I couldn't have been more surprised at the difference! It doesn't matter if I sleep on my side, back, or stomach- there are no pressure points on my hips, it is cushioned but well supported and I don't get over heated. I sleep with a weighted blanket so I have found that I tend to get hot easily. The mattress stays the same temperature regardless. When I wake up in the morning my lower back, hips and feet no longer hurt. It is amazing!

The soft pillowtop is like sleeping on a cloud! I feel totally supported as I sleep. I also don't sink into the mattress. This is important, because you don't want to have trouble getting out of bed! The mattress is also cool - I never feel hot during the night time. I have always bought higher end mattresses, so I am not comparing this mattress to a cheaper mattress under $1000. If you want to invest in pure comfort, this is a fantastic option! I would recommend to anyone who needed a softer bed.

Our first mattress from Stearns and Foster was a queen Cassatt. It was defective. One side had coils sticking poking through the top layers and the pillow top was bunching up. We got a refund and purchased a lux estate queen. It was also defective with almost the same problems as the first. I couldn't be more disappointed and honestly surprised. This brand should be better than this.

This bed has not only surpassed my expectations but also made a life customer out of me. The quality of this bed matches its comfort. It did feel different to me at first given the fact that I used to own a foam mattress prior to this one. But after the first night I was sleeping like a baby. I will not hesitate to recommend this bed to anyone because it truly is worth the price.

I have been coping with back and hip pain for two years and realized it was my 8yr old memory foam mattress, after traveling and sleeping in hotel beds for a period of time. I decided to shop for a new bed and tried about two dozen mattresses. This particular mattress was like resting on a cloud in the showroom...and after the first night sleeping on it at home, I woke up with no back or hip pain. Now, about a month later...still pain free!! I didn't love the price, but overall worth the investment.

This is exactly what I needed for my back and shoulder pain, it's very firm and keeps your posture well positioned. You feel recharged, relaxed and ready to work next day. Just simply falling asleep and waking up in the morning... well rested!!! I cannot recommend this mattress enough! Was told this was a great mattress and maybe it is for a single person who is 90 lbs. My spouse and I sleep close to each other and we sink. It is very uncomfortable to wake up in the middle of the night and feel like we are in a hole. We have more than one home so by the time we figured out how uncomfortable I was past the time to exchange. After 15 months we can't take it. Currently buying a new mattress and buying a new bed frame so I can move our bed to the guest room. Waste of money for sure.
