I love my new Roborock so far. It does a good job of keeping the floors clean. It rarely gets stuck (on power cords) and always returns to the base. I went through 2 Roomba's before getting this Roborock. The Roomba's worked for a short time then stopped returning to the base. The Roomba left scuff marks all over my baseboards. Thankfully, that's not an issue with Roborock because it uses Lidar for navigation instead of relying on a bumper. I'm so happy I bought this!

As more "pro" reviews have pointed out, the S8 is an incremental improvement over the S7. Gone is the worrying camera. Added is the double brush like its competition. The dock has at least a cosmetic revamp and the clean water reservoir is MUCH simpler now. The app doesn't seem to treat it differently and many (most/all) consumables and parts are the same as the S7. Do I regret the price increase from the S7 MaxV Ultra? Not at moment - it's the first week of trials and it's done at least as well as the S7. We'll see on long term reliability and performance.

This is our second Roborock and it is amazing! We have had zero issues thus far - it’s worth every penny. It seamlessly swaps between vacuuming and mopping, and has been great for our home (we have two kids and two cats). Our first device is the Roborock S6 and while it is also great, this one is a major upgrade. Highly recommend!!

This thing is AMAZING!! Not only has it done an amazing job but it has yet to get "lost", "stuck" or otherwise error, something I experienced often form DeeBot and Roomba newer models. I'm converted to this brand 100% recommending it to everyone I know!

Overall, I very much enjoy this product but wish it had the Vmax features. One of the main features is knowing what it considers an obstacle and teaching it whether or not it needs to avoid it in the future. Also, the mapping seems to have some minor problems such as marking the rooms straight. It gets very annoying when trying to accurately create the layout of our place. Otherwise, I am very happy with our purchase.

Our floors weren't terribly dirty but there is a lot of dust in Colorado. I run it in the main kitchen/family room/dining area daily and then mop weekly. The floors have never looked better. I then carry the cleaning unit once a week upstairs to vacuum the carpets. It also works well on our garage that has an epoxy finish.

We’ve had our roborock for a few weeks now and are so impressed. It is actually effortless cleaning and we have cleaner floors than when we would vacuum and mop by hand. We have a golden retriever and a crawling baby, so keeping our floors clean was important but a challenge. This was worth every penny to us. The object avoidance is excellent as well.

This is by far the best robot vacuum we have ever owned. The mapping is amazing and now that it has the house figured out it will vac and mop almost 2000 sf. and return to the dock with over 40% battery left. If anyone ever questions the price it is simple, you Pay For What You Get and this thing gets it!!! Fantastic work roborock you have made us a customer for life.

"Well... I don't know what to do right now..."- my wife If that's not high enough praise, I don't know what to tell you. She's a meticulous cleaner and every Saturday for the past 10+ years we spent cleaning in the morning- this legitimately saved us time and gave a part of our Saturday back. We'll still do the usual cleaning, but the robot will be the last thing before we leave and it's just so nice to walk barefoot and feel a clean floor when we come back.
