We have had our set for a month and a half and love our set. We agree with everyone that talk about the quality of the set and how easy it was to put together. We did some research on what the best oil would be to oil the set. We found an article in Wood Working magazine that talked about different kinds of oil and it recommended not buying teak oil from Home Depot, Lowe’s or most anywhere else because they are varnishes. They said to use Boiled Linseed Oil that you can buy most anywhere. It did say that if you live in a high humidity area you should check with the local marina to see what they recommend in your area. I also found an article that suggests you leave the furniture outside for two or three week to open the grain prior to applying the oil. We left ours out two weeks prior to oiling with Boiled Linseed Oil and they came out just great. We also found covers that fit right on Sam’s web page. For the chairs you need to get 2 of the Veranda Adirondack Chair Covers and for the Loveseat get the Veranda Patio Sofa Loveseat Cover. We did not buy covers for the Ottomans because we could not find any large enough to fit. So what we do is put the Ottoman cushions on the love seat prior to putting on the cover and it fits just fine and covers the both the sets of cushions and the rest of the love seat. The Ottoman cushion will also fit under the Adirondack chair covers but not as well as under the Loveseat cover. The covers are of very high quality and we love them. We live in Albuquerque and we get wind and some dust storms so we also Scott Guarded the cushions prior to use. Jane & Jim

After reading other reviews we decided to purchase this set. We are pleased with this purchase. We decided to use teak oil first and it made the furniture that much nicer with great contrast between the cushions and the wood. Like i read in other reviews the cushions had some spots on them and one had a large faint redish mark from the wood....we didn't do anything to the spot and with exposure it has become very minimally noticable. Good set for the price..all hardware included.

The product is wonderful with the expecption the color of the cushions. I would have perfered them to be a dark color as they show every little piece of dirt. It does look neat and clean in white however for outside furniture a darker color would have been nice. Even though they can be washed it would save time when planning an event to have darker color. Item was very easy to put together with two people. Even had extra parts.

The actual construction and quality of the furniture is very high...we have had this now for 3 years and the furniture has held up. We have had to sand and re-oil every summer to keep the color but looks almost like new! The one downfall...which is turning out to be a HUGE downfall is that you cannot wash the cushions. They are light and show every bit of dirt and mildew. The back cushions come right out and can be washed - they look just like new! All the other cushions have a zipper and look like you can do the same with these. The inside padding is so tight that it will not come out and when I tried one it ripped the entire cushion on the seam. Very disappointed that the cushions are made this way (and even more upset that one has ripped). VERY POOR DESIGN. If you end up having to replace the cushions, this set will end up costing the same as any other set.

First, you can't beat this price for a teak deep seating set. I scoured the internet, and couldn't come close. I hesitated before ordering because I saw a lot of so-so reviews on the cushions. I expected them to be white/beige canvas/twill, and some people complained about stains. Not SO! I went ahead and ordered two sets for our patio/pool deck, and they are GREAT. The cushions are actually taupe/light tan "Sun-Poly" material, they have been great, and are so neutral and pretty. You can pair any colored throw pillows, etc. (My house is amherst grey and they look awesome next to it) The furniture frames are nice, too. They are slightly better than I expected. The wood is very pretty, with nice and substantial arms and legs. I plan to oil it with Teak oil soon. The seats and seat backs are good enough - not really bulky or substantial, about 3/4 in thick- slats seem strong enough, but I've made a rule that my kids can't jump on the furniture, not sure it would hold up to really strong jolts. I am confident it will last with usual use, though. I assembled all of it myself, none was very difficult. You screw the sides (arms+legs all in one) to the backs and seats, and it's as easy as that! All the pieces fit together really well, and nothing came in broken. All in all, a great bargain, good quality, cushions are WAY better than I expected. (I was pricing Sunbrella replacement cushions already, but after these came in I cancelled that) If you're on the fence, go for it! I'm really glad I did…

The overall quality of this set is very good and I am satisfied, however, the sofa arrived with the center back slat cracked. We were able to fix with wood glue and C-clamps and no one will be able to tell. The color of the cushions is darker than expected. More flax than anything. However, they were clean and in good shape. I would recommend this product. Good price.

Overall a great teak set and at a fantastic price.... cost about half of what two other sellers were asking. Only problem I had with product parts was one corner brace was not pre-drilled like the other. Challenge will be to countersink a pre-drilled hole on an irrregulart part of the brace. But should be able to do and until I get it done, table functions adequately. Assembly was somewhat easy as only the love seat/couch needed a second person's help to assemble. Take time to match the cushion covers to the cushions/covers. The cover seams will help you tell what goes with what..... chair cushions have "notches" on the fronts.

We bought the 2-chair set from Sam's Club 15 years ago. With a little teak oil every few years, it has held up really well (Colorado and Desert S.W.). We were sorry to not have bought two more. And now this set, though not with exactly the same cushions, matches really well - same design. Assembly is not difficult but takes some time because of the number of pieces.

This seven piece set came in three boxes with all the teak pieces shipped flat and therefore requires considerable assembly. Pieces fit together well and assembly is not difficult with one exception: the corner supports for the tables do not have pre drilled targets and one of the 16 corners split slightly when screwed together. Assembly took 2.5 hours. Chairs are comfortable, particularly when used with ottomans and cushions (which are slightly more grey than pictured) seem of high quality. Team is well furnished and sturdy--quality furniture.

I went to the World Trade Center in Dallas with my father, an interior designer, to look for patio furniture. Even wholesale, teak is very expensive! So, I thought I would try Sam's teak set & I'm glad I did! It's wonderful! I'm very happy with the style, quality, & value. I also wanted neutral cushions & the color is perfect (grey beige)! My father was impressed as well. TIP: I did some research & most companies recommend a teak SEALER (not oil) to maintain its beauty & color.
