Illegible Setting Numbers

The slice size settings numbers 0-9 are white on white, a slightly raised digit. You cannot read without perfect lighting and just the right angle on the light source. A major failing. At least they are consistent. The directions (turn left/right) atop the knob to push the vegetable through the slicer are the same white on white lettering/arrows. I carefully highlighted my numbers using a black ultra-fine permanent marker. Interesting to see how long that lasts. So be warned. Haven;t tried slicing yet.
