[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these filters because: -dogs -kids with mild allergies -changing filters regularly helps your heating/cooling system work more efficiently - I trust 3M Filtrete products -cold season is upon us and these filters have amazing bacterial and viral filtering capabilities. easy to install these are sturdy and fit my furnace perfectly. i noticed. reduction in air flow noise immediately as well as less dust on the furniture. Because my kids have inhalation allergies it is critical that we keep our home air as clean and filtered as possible and these do the job efficiently and effectively.

They are very well made, easy to install, and seem to pull monstrous amounts of dirt from the air. Filtrete air conditioning filters have always fit perfectly and always stay in place. It will filter out levels of allergens and bacteria that my old filter wasn't able to handle

I have checked to see if there was debris in the filter and there is. As far as air quality, I can’t say I have noticed a difference. Overall the filter seems very well made and durable. Hoping it holds up for the 3 months.

So I thought I would splurge and get the one that lasts for 3 months instead of the monthly ones that I have used. This did not disappoint, the quality is superior in comparison to the competition that is out there. Plus easier to change every quarter than monthly.

I feel like I can breathe better and don’t wake up congested as I usually do. I know it’s working for my air purifiers that I keep running throughout my house show that my air quality has improved. They just don't as good of a job. These are high quality and very effective. Filtrete is a name with an excellent reputation and I would trust most any product with their name on it. It makes me happy knowing that I am providing my family an additional layer of protection from Allergens, illness, and all-around yucky air. It was easy to install and the material is very thick and durable.

I've purchased this item several times. Overall I. Stified with its performance The only negative is, the filter turns black (some of them, not all) after about 3 weeks. No smokers in the house. Minimal fried foods, we seldom use candles. My Ac guy said it could be activated charcoal but the package didn't say that. What causes this?
