I bought these lawn refuse bags and will be returning them tomorrow. Even though they are constructed with inferior quality paper that is not my reason for returning them. The first three bags I attempted to use would not open. The bottoms were glued to the sides which prevented them from easily opening and while attempting to open them they tore. I can see a couple having that problem but it appears the entire package slipped through quality control at the factory.

I don't know how these bags are possibly getting ANY positive reviews.  They are extremely weak and of very poor quality.   Previously I have purchased this type of bag at a big box home improvement store and have been very happy with them.  Recently, I saw them at Sam's so thought I'd try Sam's version-- big mistake.  The Sam's Club version can't even begin to compare.  If the Sam's version gets even a wee bit wet, everything falls apart (and I mean everything).  Compare this to the big box home improvement store version which can easily withstand getting very wet and still retains bag strength and importantly does NOT fall apart.   Needless to say, I will go back to HD!

sturdy bags .a like that they come in a large quantity

These tear so easily and multiple bags had split seams. I won't buy again. Home Depot bags are still cheaper price wise just sold in smaller qtys.
