Personally even if I order another I'm sure it will also be dented. The box looked ok and the foam packing was intact but when I pulled it out it had a dent on the corner and to ripples on the back. very disappointed. Now I have to take it to Walmart to return. The reason I ordered it on line was for convenience and I threw out my old garbage can so....now I have nothing.

Good solid construction, excellent value for money paid. large capacity on both sides. Perfect for placing flush against a cabinet since lid doest flip back so much that it hits the surface behind. Only complaint is that the lid doesn't have a lock position when it's up and the lid is black plastic. mildly inconvenient to keep popping the lid open every time you go back to it . Matching metal to sides would have looked better.

This looks very nice. The quality is good. It’s cumbersome to get the inner can out, because the handle for it is underneath the trash bag. We’ve tried different ways of putting the bag in on top of the handle, but then it becomes hard to tuck the bag into the outer layer. Over all, not the best can for our big household.

Size: I do like the size, fits perfect in my space. That said, the inside containers (logically so) are half size ... so they will have to be emptied more often. That's nothing wrong with the product but an adjustment on us as users. Recycling: Again, the square size makes collecting large bottles or cardboard boxes (even broken down) almost impossible. Fortunately, our curbside bin isn't that far away outside the house. Convenience: Collection of both recycle and garbage in one spot is very nice; freed up floor space in our kitchen. The increased frequency of emptying, not so convenient. HOWEVER...this is very much a first world problem...I am grateful to have it. But, I mention it as a possible downside for large families.I It seems that the pedals are a bit stiff, but that may change with use. Overall, I would purchase again.

So I just recently bought a house and have been looking for the perfect trash can and the right size one to fit my kitchen. I bought three trash cans and returned all of them because of their size. I fill up a trash can quite fast so nothing seemed to please me until I came along this one. It's the perfect size and style I was looking for. I have gotten so many compliments on it. I absolutely love it. My trash bag now lasts me for the week! And when I feel like it needs to be taken out I take the bag out shake it a little, put it back in the can itself and there is half the room left in the trash bag again! So yes, I definitely recommend this trash can. It's easy to use, looks great, and is extremely durable.

Love The look of this bin! It actually takes up less space than a regular larger bin for garbage and smaller for recyclables (that was my previous setup). My baby was getting into the recycling all the time and finally figured out how to get into the garbage so I went in search for a double compartment bin that was taller as well. This was exactly what we needed to keep little hands out! It arrived promptly and it was packaged well so I'm not sure where a tiny dent came from but oh well. The dent is on the bottom side and hardly noticeable. The stickers provided to help you label your compartments did not stick (I imagine it was because of the heat). I got this bin on sale, used gift cards, and got free shipping so these "issues" weren't a huge deal to me. Ugly plastic bins run in the $30-40 range and dont have this double compartment functionality so I was, overall, super happy with it. Also, regular large trash bags fit in the compartments.

This is an excellent waste bin. The compartments are quite large (larger than I expected). Wipes down easily. Size is perfect for the end of a run of base cabinets. As for the packaging - this bin came VERY well packaged, double-boxed, reinforced corners and styrofoam. Pretty sure it would take a forklift piercing the box or it being run over by the transport tuck to have dented this. Came perfectly intact.

My purchase of the double bin recycling and trash can was one of the best purchases I have ever made. The double bin was well boxed for shipping and arrived without dents or damage. I took out of the box and put it directly into my kitchen. I traded my trash can for the trash and recycling bin. I lost no space on my kitchen. Infact since my recycling bin had been in a cabinet, I gained use of a WHOLE CABINET and lost no space in my kitchen. Now that's a good deal.

The bin looks nice but are not that functional. My complaint is with the size of the two individual sides. They are very small (much smaller than the standard 13 gallon can) so they fill up quickly. There's a ton of room still available in each 13 gallon bag we take out as a result, which is a huge waste. I also don't enjoy that there is no way to secure the bags at the top of the bins. They just kind of loosely sit in there and are constantly falling down. Also, the bin is HUGE and takes up a good bit of space. I would expect a better design for the price.

The trash can could have been a little bigger so that you got full use of the 13 gallon kitchen trash bags but it does work. I use one side for trash and the other for recycle. I do wish there was something on the lids that would allow me to open without pushing the pedal when needed. I do love this trash can because it keeps everything enclosed. One thing I'm having a problem with, the smell. There is a strange smell to the plastic and every time you open it you smell it. Really hoping that will go away!! I've had it now for a few weeks.
