Very nice looking, plenty of room and slim design. We were looking for something that did not take up a lot of space. This does just that without loosing capacity. Seemed a little pricey. The can was dented when arrived. I was able to push the dent out. Tough to put bag in the trash side.

Ordered this trash/recycle can because the price sure beat other retailers. However the first one I had shipped to my home and it came with a huge dent in the side. (I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with the fed ex guy throwing it from the back of his truck to the front.) So I returned it and reordered for a site to store pick up. That one too came in dented. So I got a refund and will not order again.

So far we are happy we the purchase the bins are roomy enough for frrash and recycling. The trash bags are a little difficult to get in w the handle but it is able to work able. The easy cleanup is a plus. I think his will be a good As long as the foot handles hoop up.

I hate this can after a month I’ve decided to get rid of it it looks nice came in good condition but the cans are small and the trash bags won’t stay on the can they always fall down and garbage gets everywhere unless you are a bag less person or live with people who would fix the bag if it fell in they I’d suggest you keep looking

This garbage can is perfect for what I needed. The right size (not too big, not too small), hands-free lid, with two compartment to separate trash and recyclables. One of the reviews said they had a problem securing the garbage bag, but I just wrap it around the top and tuck it under the lip before I put the canister in...stays fine, hasn't slipped yet. Very pleased with this purchase!

I didn't realize the compartments were so narrow and since there is no clip to hold a garbage bag on the one side, it would require tucking the garbage bag all around underneath the container while the removable container is lifted up and then dropping it down quickly to hold the bag in place- this would take some doing, and I prefer to quickly attach a bag to the can or easily fold it over and be done with it. Also it is so narrow that whatever bag I would put down there would never be able to be filled up close to full and at some point I would have to keep it on the floor until I could fill the bag completely. I do however like the product and we are using both sides for our recyclables - easy to remove the inside containers and wash them too if needed. I live in a place that doesn't require separating recyclables but it would be very well appreciated by those who have to separate glass from plastic, etc. I still am happy with the purchase but we still have to get a step garbage can that is easy to attach a bag with and is more like the size of a standard bag.

I really like having both my kitchen trash can & recycle bin in a single container. The stainless steel exterior looks good in my kitchen. Great price too since the exact same combo unit was being sold by another vendor for $60 more. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Just received. Bins are smaller than expected. If you don’t accumulate waste very often it’s a nice addition to the kitchen; I live alone so I think it should work fine for me. Packaging was very nice and strongly protected. It’s obviously just a trash can so hopefully it will do it’s job overtime and ya know. just hole trash. Tissue box is for reference, first photo it’s basically on the very edge so just mentally add about an inch to 1.5 inches.

so, I bought this, but had to return it. the pedals are held on by small plastic clips, and in fact the pedals are plastic with just a thin metal cover over them. any amount of use and pounding by feet to open the lid will destroy the pedals, which are needed to open the lid, since its recessed a bit in the top, ie, you can't easily open it by hand (you'd need a screwdriver). Actually, the unit was already missing one of the small plastic clips used to keep the pedals in place, so it was falling out anyway. Comparison, the simplehuman version for about 50 bucks more, gives you an all steel pedal mechanism which is much more durable. This is the one we ended up purchasing.

I love it! It's lines are clean and perfect for my kitchen. Even though only an 8 gallon container, I fill a thirteen gallon bag more then my old one. Reminds me of a manual trash compactor. And my non-bagged recycling side holds as much too. I can us the handle to hold the lid up while working in the kitchen perfect. SOOOO happy!
