I assembled this without the pegboard. Placed a long board (dinning room table leaf) at the bottom for a rack to hold kitchen aide mixer, large canisters of flour/sugar. The drawers hold my kitchen tools, pastry bags & rolling pins. I screwed the peg boards on my kitchen walls one for hang my pots/pans, & the other peg board for measuring cups, zester, pot holders, scissors, etc. I mounted surge protector on the side so I can plug in my kitchen aid mixer, food processor, & laptop. It is the perfect height for my bar stool-Construction is heavy duty so the table doesn't move when I use the kitchen aid mixers or knead dough.

Bought to set up as loading bench. I have purchased a number of “assembly required” items over the years but I have never found one that is as well thought out and designed as this one. Not only are the components well made, not one screw hole was misaligned, not one piece or part was missing and every component fit as described. Their attention to detail, such as labeling each piece with it's description and orientation in the finished unit was most helpful in the assembly. This is a good, heavy duty 4' workbench that meets my needs perfectly. I would not hesitate to purchase another if needed.

I am a 71-year-old woman who just finished assembling the lighted workbench that I bought for my husband for his birthday. The directions are clear, the pictures, while a tad small, were clear and well defined. Every part was perfectly labeled as was the hardware. The packing was excellent. It took about five hours for me to put the workbench together by myself with periodic brief breaks but it all went perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to both experienced and inexperienced assemblers.

I was surprised how cleverly designed and thought out this workbench was. It assembles into a highly functional, sturdy and very utilitarian unit. All didn't go smoothly with the assembly, however. Two of the four leg threads for the adjustable feet were not quite cut accurately. One was worse than the other but neither of those two feet could be screwed in without a lot of lubricant, force and a much heavier wrench than provided with the unit. I finally got them all installed only to find out that my wife, who is going to be the user of the workbench, felt that it was too tall with the adjustable feet attached so we wound up removing them. If you are thinking about using this workbench while sitting, you will need a tall stool if you keep the adjustable feet installed.The table top is 36" above the floor without the adjustable feet attached and at least 2 inches or so higher with the feet screwed in as far as they can go. A couple other problems arose as well during assembly with one of the small screws for the shelf not going in completely and we had apparent shipping damage to the piece where the LED light attaches being bent on one corned as well as one end of the back leg brace being misshapen. The latter took some use of a vice and mallet to get it close enough to fit over the leg properly. All in all, we are very pleased with the unit. The wooden top is thick, sturdy and a very pleasant surprise due to its high quality. I'm thinking of buying a second one for myself.

It isn't often that I find a product like this! The unit is quality and heavy duty! The assembly instructions were the best I have ever worked with with all parts and hardware clearly labeled and marked front and back! I am using this bench for reloading and it is going to work better than I had hoped for. The bench is in my basement and the heavy duty leveling feet were just what I needed! The built in light and power strip make this unit easy to work with. There is also plenty of room for your legs under the bench while seated. The drawers slide smoothly and are solid. The added drawer lining was a nice touch. You can't go wrong with this product!

This is a very nice workbench. Solid and easy to assemble. I did have one piece that was damaged in shipping but a phone call to the manufacturer had a new part shipped to my home in a couple of days. The workbench wood top is almost too nice to work on. For the price, or probably even twice the price, you cannot beat it.

I've been looking for a while and this bench was the best price I've seen with a hard wood top. When I open the box I thought, I could use this in the kitchen. It's that nice. The peg board got my often used tools off the bench so I am a lot more organized. The light is an added plus.

I bought two of these to put side by side. It took awhile to get them both together, but it is not very complicated. They supply tools for you to use if you wish, but you will want to grab your socket set instead if you have some. The only issue I had was that two of the foot posts (on the first one I put together, the second one all four were fine) had their threads messed up, making them impossible to put in without having to resort to forcing them in a little cross-threaded. The butcher block style tops on these are so nice it looks like they would cost the price of these work benches by themselves.

Nice workbench, good solid legs and frame. Top is 1.8 inch thick birch wood and finished almost too pretty to work on. Shouldered screws for power strip do not allow for tightening the power strip down, holds it in place until you plug in tools and move stiff cords and then it comes off the screws. No safety hazard just an inconvenience.

I purchased this 3 weeks ago. It arrived undamaged from shipping thank heavens. Took about an hour and a half by myself to put together. When assembled it is very sturdy and functional. I'm using it for a reloading bench for my rifles and pistols. All of my tools arranged well on the very sturdy table top. Just love it I did add a bottom shelf to the bench legs using 3/4 plywood and self tapping screws. I liked it so well I ordered another on for my shotgun reloaders.
