This workbench, and the rest of the Seville line, is a very good value for the price. The metal parts are reasonable gauge steel, so barring very rough treatment it should last for a long time. The assembly is simple; very much like putting together the erector sets we had as kids. My bench arrived with some dented metal parts, but a few whacks with my rubber mallet straightened things up fine. If I was the type of person who expected the bench to arrive in perfect condition, it might have bothered me, but it is a workbench and a few dings or creases are of no consequence to me. It is exactly what I wanted to replace an old particle board topped workbench that was falling apart.

Very well made product. Extremely sturdy. It took about a good hour to set it up, but the directions were awesome, very simple directions. Everything fit together just right. Simplest thing I ever put up. Separate bag with a couple of extra screws, but they were not needed. Everything was organized into separate bags for each set of screws. Top notch product. I would buy more items from this company.

I needed a workbench for my new table top lathe and bought this one after reading its great reviews in contrast to the questionable comments made about others I considered. It came in just two days, yes two days! My buddy was with me in the garage when FedEx brought it right in. We put it together immediately and it definitely requires two to do it. We also had a little frustration figuring out how to get the drawers on the sliders properly, but we found a way. Nonetheless, the quality of fasteners, parts and construction is great. The finished bench is great and I love it.

I've been shopping around for a workbench for my workshop and after extensive viewing of various products this is the best bang for the buck. What sold me on this product was the solid wood butcher block style top. Excellent working surface, quality metal, like one reviewer said, even ball bearing drawer slides. Other workbenches in this price range had cheap wood surfaces, sometimes even particle board. Well done Seville, I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Very pleased with my purchase. The overall quality is very good. The wood top is very solid, and I like the metal pegboard back. Drawers are OK but could be deeper for more capacity. And the top shelf could be wider too, but I like the front lip on it. It took my girlfriend and I 3 hours to put this together. Not bad considering. It does take a second person to hold components, especially when first putting the legs onto the top. Directions were pretty good, but drawings/sketches could have been clearer for the drawers and back. I put a couple of components on backwards, quickly realizing it was wrong and "figured it out" within 5 minutes, so not a biggie. Construction is very solid, even for an amature putting it together. I like that the leveling feet were easily adjusted (using the provided wrench) after it was sitting there with drawers full and tools on the backboard. I had to raise the front feet to keep the drawers from "self opening". They slide very easily though, which is a good thing!

The item arrived on time. Assembly instructions were very good and had it assembled in a couple of hours, with the help of my son. However, packaging could be better. The lower back bar was bent and the weld had broken - used a hammer and pliers to straighten the bent areas before assembly, Also, the top tray was bent in several places and had to be hammered straight. Overall, very good quality at an excellent price. May buy another one in the future.

Needed a bench for doing hobby work, this fits the bill perfectly. Easy assembly and well designed. Instructions well written, unit arrived in good shape, excellent packing job for such a heavy box. I like the fact that the pegboard is metal, will take a lot more use and abuse than the Masonite pegboards. I will most likely buy other Seville Classic products however Sam's does not carry all the pieces that I will be wanting.

This workbench is great quality, very sturdy for the price. I don't think the online description of the bench tells you the pegboard back is metal, not fiberboard....nice. It is somewhat tedious to build as all of Seville products I have purchased are, but worth the effort. I am very mechanical but had some difficulty putting the shelf together on this bench. The instructions could have been more helpful.... or maybe I was just getting tired. When I was almost finished my wife noticed I had the pegboard panels installed in the wrong order and she was right. It only took a couple minutes to correct. They do include some extra screws in case you bug some up, The top is so nice I won't want to use it.

The quality of the workbench is outstanding at a great price point. I found the assembly very straight forward and the instructions easy to follow; the parts are clearly identified with the orientation indicated directly on the part. If you have ever assembled furniture from Ikea, you will find this much easier. Be careful not to lose any screws as extras are not supplied. I highly recommend this workbench and my wife has asked me to buy one for her crafting.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product for the price. The assembly was straightforward, everything seems to be durable and well designed and engineered. Tons of styrofoam in the packaging which I was not a fan of; makes a mess and can't be recycled. Other than that, the packaging appeared to protect the pieces well.
