I am a chocoholic 98% of the time. But, when I need a root beer float or crumble some Oreos in a bowl of ice-cream, then it is Bryers natural vanilla I reach for. Never disappoints. Reading a lot more labels than I used to when I wasn't so concerned about what I was eating. Bryers is one of the best!

Brewers Natural vanilla ice cream is the only one I buy. It’s got the vanilla bean flecks and tastes so, so good. No other version or brand compares. Miss me with the “home style churned” versions, etc. just the “Natural” on a piece of pie or brownie is absolute perfection. Normally I like Breyers rocky road flavor or really any of them but to top my baked goods-it’s gotta be the Natural Vanilla flavor

I don't know what Breyer's has done to this, but it has become the most horrible ice cream ever! At first I thought it had something to do with my local Walmart, but I have also ordered other quality ice cream from a different brand, and it does not have the problems this Breyer's does. It wasn't until today that I read the ingredients on the "natural" vanilla ice cream. It's no longer milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla beans. It is now milk, cream, sugar, vegetable gum, and "natural" flavors. The ice cream freezes rock hard, but if you try to let it sit out for a few mintues to soften it, the pop will come off, a slimy mess will leak out, and it's gross! So I did research on "vegetable gum" which turns out is a "filler" not just a way to keep ice cream from developing ice crystals. Which the first time we tried to eat this carton, it had ice crystals throughout. This has been an issue for the last month. Never had this problem before with Breyer's. Save yourself some money, and just buy any old generic ice cream. It will taste much better, and you won't have wasted your money. I think Breyer's has found a way to cut corners at the expense of quality, but I am not one to be brand loyal when things become bad. Quality is what I pay for, and this is no longer quality ice cream. Buy some Tillamook, Mayfield, Blue Bunny, heck even the Walmart brand tastes better and creamier than this horrible stuff.

my family has been buying breyer's natural vanilla ice cream for decades. it's our favorite. recently we've noticed ice crunches in it while eating it. we thought it was because of having it delivered from store that it might have thawed some. But that wasn't the case, breyer's has added water to this ice cream. they don't mention this on the product details or pictures on the information page.

The ice cream is very good considering its limited ingredients. One can’t compare the flavor of this product against ice creams loaded with high fructose corn syrup. They are definitely not in the same category. When comparing it to Blue Bell vanilla, which is what my husband loves, Breyer’s has 3 grams less fat, 44 mg less salt, 8 grams less carbs, and 3 grams less added sugar. That is a lot for just 2/3 cup. For those who are used to products like Blue Bell, it will taste not as sweet, because it is not. Again, the high fructose corn syrup, which is very unhealthy to consume, definitely changes the taste compared to a natural vanilla with limited ingredients.

Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream Gluten-Free Frozen Dessert Kosher Dairy Milk is not real ice cream; it's more like ice milk. I should have looked at the description closer. I love real ice cream. I hear that Breyers is not as good as it was; the reviews are right. I think I'll change brands, like Haagen Dazs ice cream.

REPULSIVE! IVE ONLY EATEN THE FANCY OVERPRICED BRANDS OF COFFEE ICECREAM BEFORE TRYING THIS. THIS ICECREAM IS A STRANGE TEXTURE OF FOAM AND THE COFFEE FLAVOR TASTE LIKE MCDS. THEN IT HAS A SOUR AFTERTASTE. KINDA LIKE IF YOU VOMIT UP, CHEAP COFFEE, ONTO A COUCH CUSHION, FREEZE IT, THEN EAT IT. 🤮☕🛋️🍽️ I WILL PAY MORE FOR THE FANCY BRANDS AND NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN.

It's gone up in price, but I usually still have ti splurge on this. I just can't find another brand that has the luscious flavor this has. The only comparable brand would be Haagen Dasz whuch is even more expensive. It's excellent too, but Breyers is still my favorite. And it's so nice to know it's still all-natural when it comes to ingredients. Love this stuff!!!

Something is different. I noticed it when I took the cartons out of the bag that was delivered. The top of the container is empty from the top to about two inches down. Not melted, sounds hollow. It doesn't scoop nicely like it used to, it's a very strange consistency. Not much flavor either. I've tried several deliveries thinking I received a bad batch so to speak. Tonight after eating a few spoon fulls my throat felt odd. I immediately quit eating it and will dispose of the other gallons I purchased. Not sure what happened but what a shame. Used to be the best.

Best icecream ever. I love how Breyers stayed true to their simple ingredient list in their classic Vanilla Bean Icecream. I love an icy icecream, I do not like overly thickened with guar gum icecream and this icecream is perfect. It's great to eat by itself but is also the PERFECT icecream for various toppings or pie :)
