Although Im accustomed to the pampers baby scent, these are still high in quality. With no dyes and so fourth I know they offer extra protection to my babys skin. Though the diaper itself is simple and of good quality, however, in two days we experienced THREE stool/poop leaks from the back of the diaper and up my baby’s back leaking through clothes and blankets which required giving my baby baths and washing a bunch of laundry. The lack of elastic banding on the back of the diaper contributes to these leaks. Definitely will not be purchasing again, this mama needs sleep and less laundry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Im honestly shocked. We have been avid Honest diaper wearers since kid 1 in 2015. However these are actual *gasp* better than our honest! We especially love these for overnights for our 15 month old. He wakes up dry whereas with honest overnights we always always had leaks! So he has been sleeping longer and staying happier since we made the switch to Pampers Pure! Full disclosure we have tried Seventh Generation, Amazon brand, and Aldi and honest was always still the best but now we have a clear winner in Pampers Pure. We always shied away from big name brands due to chemicals so we love that these are free of mostly all the yucky stuff! Happy babe and mama.

While these diapers work well about 75% of the time, the issues we have are ones we can’t ignore, leaving us on the hunt for another diaper that works for us. First, since day 1 of bringing our newborn home and using these, we have at least once a day leaks out of the side of the diaper. We have tried everything to ensure a good fit and still will randomly find him soaked on his side. This has happened with both the newborn and size 1 diapers. In addition, we recently transitioned to 1s and with these diapers there is a horrible chemical smell. Some diapers out of the package have the scent but the rest have this smell once he goes to the bathroom. It isn’t a urine smell but a very strong chemical type smell. Both of these issues lead us to changing diapers much more frequently than necessary and spending more money on diapers.
