Originally the recipe called for fresh corn off the cob but I found the canned corn to be a nice replacement for that as it had a really nice sweet flavor and a nice amount of texture.

It gives the corn a more authentic and less tinny taste for sure! I used this along with a can of Del Monte creamed style corn to make an amazing corn pudding. I definitely have to add this to my holiday side dish line up!

The corn is crisp and has a sweet flavor. There are 4 1/2 cup servings in each can so it feeds a family of 4. Good on it's own or add to soups and stews for a nice crunch. Del Monte is one of the best and you won't be disappointed in this product.

We buy this in bulk as we have a large family. And it is the only brand of canned corn or green beans that my family will eat. They are very affordable and well packaged. We buy them every month and sometimes more. If you've never tried this brand before I highly recommend you do.

Tastes fresh and still has a crunch and sweetness to it. A little more money than what you would pay for an off brand but what you get is good quality corn.
