I keep these on hand in the cabinet as a quick side for dinner. They are a good food for the whole family and don't come out mushy. I'm typically not a big fan of canned veggies, but these feel the closest to the real thing. I would recommend as a thing to keep in the pantry for a dinner vegetable when you're running low on fresh (and they are so affordable if you're trying to maintain a tight budget).

I prepared pasta with alfredo sauce, chicken and this [product:del-monte-fresh-cut-golden-sweet-whole-kernel-corn] was just amazing the flavor, the sweet of this corn and the pasta, for sure a good combination!

This is the only canned corn I use. You would think there wouldn't be much difference in brands but there is. With this corn the kernels are slightly bigger, sweeter, and have a fresher snap when biting into them. This brand also has more actual vegetables in the can unlike so many other brands that contain a lot more liquid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the corn in a tamale pie recipe and it was good. It tasted like normal corn and not too sweet. I thought maybe it would taste artificial but it didn't. The price point is not high either for the product.

I love just mixing it with rice and a little butter for lunch, adding to my homemade chili for an extra bit of crunch, and of course baked in a shepherds pie. I always grab a couple cans every time I go to the store. It's so versatile that it definitely deserves 5 stars!

I especially like to use it to make my fav creamed corn recipe. The so-called creamed corn varieties that come in cans have nothing on this- NOTHING. I love canned corn with meals simply warmed up with butter, salt and pepper. It tasted fresh and had a crispness to it, as well as it was sweet. This would also be great to add to recipes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I really enjoy the fact that del Monte's whole kernal corn is sweet & not salty. I like my corn to be sweet. I also enjoyed that its crunchy fresh, as if it were right off the cob. I don't have a bad thing to say at all, I've never had mushy corn or anything bad from Del Monte! I even have other canned goods from them!
