It tastes very fresh. Especially when you can't get corn on the cob, this is a great substitute. We also use it in soups and casseroles and as add-ins for some box meals. My kids love it too.

Del Monte sweet whole kern is excellent! It is sweet and crisp like right off the cob,! It is fresh and an excellent value overall! Packaging is simple to open...
