Del Monte is my favorite brand when it comes to canned fruit and vegetables. One of my favorite canned vegetables from them is the corn. I prefer purchasing the ones with no salt added because I prefer my corn to taste a little bit sweeter than saltier. I enjoy this, it’s a quick snack and no way on messing it up. It could be used for so many recipes, or simply used as a side dish on its own.

I usually use fresh corn but with fresh corn going out of season this corn is a wonderful alternative. I can get it at any grocery store and always stock up on canned corn.

A good budget option though or for when you need to preserve food or want to donate for the holidays. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't go wrong with Del Monte vegetables. My son's are picky about how they will eat corn. So I used real butter, pinch of salt and pinch of sugar while heating the corn. There's never any corn left over when I do it that way.

Corn is my favorite vegetable and I have been known to eat it right out of the can without heating it- it's that good! I will be repurchasing these super delicious morsels to share with my family on thanksgiving. They are healthy and sweet with that little chewy ness that you need in a fresh delicious vegetable.
