[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Del Monte Fresh Cut Golden Sweet Whole Kernel Corn is delicious! It tastes fresh and slightly sweet. It's easy and versatile. I mixed it with fresh white sweet corn and it didn't need anything else added to it to taste great. It'd be good in homemade salsa, vegetable soup, cornbread, or any number of recipes made with corn. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved Del Monte corn (and peas if we're being honest). I find that it's one of the few canned corns that actually have a corn taste. Sometimes canned vegetables become bland and lifeless but not these. I usually add a bit of seasoning salt and paprika to amp up the flavor or add it to make a good corn chowder even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the corn in a tamale pie recipe and it was good. It tasted like normal corn and not too sweet. I thought maybe it would taste artificial but it didn't. The price point is not high either for the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This corn kept it's texture well despite being canned and the sweet flavor of the corn really made this a delicious, healthy option.  The easy pull of tab was nice to avoid having to get out the can opener and I appreciated having a taste of summer in the fall.

But this corn maintains its crunchiness and sweetness just like it was right off the cob The can is easy to open with the pull tab, too. . .the only thing that would make it better is if it were organic!

I usually find it to be either too mushy, too salty, or a combination of those two flaws. Honestly this was unexpected. The kernels were crisp, the canning juices were neither salty nor too sweet. I love Del Monte corn. It's sweet, and great for adding in homemade ramen, or into burrito bowls. We love adding this to bowls of rice, beans, and eggs for a quick and robust meal. Easy to heat, and definitely affordable price wise. A staple in our home.
