I had one of these where I used to work (now retired). I use it to create labels for everything I need a label for out in the garage, kitchen, office, or wherever I need something that is easy to read and not scrawled on some chunk of paper and taped to an object. I used this to place an address label for my Christmas cards (includes the postal bar code). Thanks to Walmart and to their FREE shipping, came to my house quickly as promised!

I am so sick and tired of this thing not reckignizing its only propritary labels.... using DYMO labels.. and it will print a few off, then go into an Error state and say its out of labels when in fact its completely full of its very expensive labels.. the only help to be found online says.... "Make sure you are using our labels"... thanks.. really helpful... I AM!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adhesive on the sticker label is pretty great. The print quality is also great considering it’s for a black & white printer so I don’t think there’s anything much to say about that. But, the labels do come out clearly and definitely very readable (not blurry or pixelated). It’s really great to use around the house or even if you have a small business.

label maker is great but every time you need to change labels it doesnt recognize that you have changed them. I also always defaults to a standard label size even if you only use a different label size. You have to say a pray each time you turn it on that it recognizes you have the right labels in there. Over all its a giant pain

I work on a ship at sea, pretty poor that I have a bunch of blue label boxes that are essential useless, spend the extra money and buy anything else. To top it off, as soon as the new labels were loaded it printed off 14 new labels and a bunch of ABC test sheets, yes the app was open and there was no way to readily cancel.

Wow, this label maker is shockingly bad, as is the Dymo Connect software. I only purchased this brand printer as I had inherited a stockpile of DYMO BRANDED labels from my predecessor. It can't read its own branded labels and won't let me manually add the type of label, rendering the printer useless. The software crashes constantly and the update took out my whole computer as well! I understand wanting to make extra money from your customers by forcing them to buy proprietary, overpriced labels, but the fact that I can't even use identical already purchased Dymo labels (that the product description said the printer used) is insulting and downright disrespectful. I am just disappointed that I have to give this printer at least one star just to post the review.

The DYMO worked great until DYMO decided to "upgrade" the software, I kept the old software on my laptop even though it would automatically look for a software update, which I stopped manually. Then one day, my laptop acted up, and we had to reinstall the operating system on it, thus ruining my workaround for the DYMO modern software. Now that I have lost the old software, I cannot figure out how to create or import contacts. All our contacts have been lost. I would not suggest DYMO to anyone, unless you can tll me how to find the labels and correct the issue..

Impossible to load labels - the device does not recognize its authentic labels, for a few seconds status updates to Labels recognized, and then to empty - hence not possible to use the device. I have tried 4 different rolls to see if it's about the particular roll - no chance. Despite it is loaded with Dymo authentic labels, I can not use the printer anymore (gave up after several support calls, etc - not worth the fight. Stay away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little labels are fantastic. From mailing labels, to helping organize, they’re super versatile. They are not as durable as I would like, but that’s okay. They print great and will definitely be part of my mailing routine from here on out.

I purchased the Avery labels for both my home and office. With the software supplied by the label maker making labels couldn't be easier. It is a quick and efficient way of producing labels. Your no longer have to setup your printer for addressing needs. The labels are self-adhesive. The convenience of using these labels certainly outweighs the modest cost.
