Amazing product.

The perfect complement to our Lifetime swing set.  Same color scheme and everything.  Easy to put together (doable by yourself, but easier with a partner).  Sturdy.  Holds all 240 of me without issue.  Thoughtful placement of grips make the climbing dome safe to explore.  Neither of my kids are bit enough to get to the top on their own, but they've both found lots of ways to climb and hang.  A great piece of equipment to grow with.

Excellent source of outside play

I purchased this for my three children - in an attempt to get them to play outside more often and not be inside children. My childrens ages are 11, 5 and 3. The age limit states up to 10 years but is WELL big enough and sturdy enough to hold a larger child and the weigvht limit is 300 pounds. So all in all this dome can and will handle multiple children on it at once. The heigh is about 5 feet but our is slightly higher (Which is fine) and my 3 year old has no problems climbing on it at all. The directions are slightly confusing so it would be good to read the entire book before attempting to put together. Grammer is slightly off and can cause you to put things together and have to take apart. But it wopuld not stop me from purchasing it. All in all it took two people 4 hours to put together.

Great classic climber for adults and kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love climbing on this dome! The paint has held up over years of sun, rain and snow. Strong enough for adults, too! Hand holds are helpful for climbing. Well built, expecting continued years of entertainment.

Another great Lifetime product

We just had a chance to assemble this and have the grandsons play on it. They absolutely loved it. As with all other Lifetime play sets, chairs & tables, & storage items we have purchased previously, it is very sturdy, looks great, and the kids are building muscle and coordination while having fun. Another winner!

Great for active kids

We bought this after we noticed our kids playing on these at area playgrounds. Since we can't always go to the park this seemed like a good investment in getting our kids to go outside and play. Well it was, my kids are always playing on it, our under it. Their favorite thing to do it, is to get a bunch of huge blankets and cover it and turn it into a fort.

Very sturdy. Very pleased.

We had a geodesic when our children were young, so we bought this one for our grandchildren. They loved it, first with climbing and then with a cover over it, it became a kitchen, puppy house, etc. I read all the reviews before ordering, so I knew it was not going to be easy to assemble. I read all the instructions the night before - hi-liting key steps. We were making good progress then we hit a deadend. We stopped and took a break while I figured out where we went wrong. The rest went fine and we were pleased to quickly finish the dome and add the handholds. If you are considering a swing set, I would recommend the dome climber. A swing requires an adult to constantly be pushing young children. With the dome climber children are able to amuse themselves. We are pleased with it. It is very sturdy and our grandkids enjoyed it. We look forward to their next visit.

Excellent!

All my grand kids, from my oldest of 21 to the youngest of 3 love climbing on this thing! As children, my own kids played on one in the park near our home and had so much fun, I had to get this for the younger crowd. I see my 3 year old great-grandson becoming so self-confident as he travels around the outside of the dome by himself. His dad helps him to the upper area, where he loves sitting on top and seeing things from a different perspective. This was definitely a good purchase!

climber for my monkeys

We purchased this climber for our grandchildren ages 4&5 for Christmas. They love it.The children are on the petite side so they are working their way to the top! I read a review about building upper body strength, and I feel this is true. Each time they climb ,they get a little faster. Its not too high 5 ft. at top that you have to worry about injury; as grandparents we like that part the best. Great price (walmart) no shipping , saved $$$ just on that .

Great for the kids! 3 - 4 hr assembly

Walmart staff helped load into my minivan. The dome was perfect, paint was perfect, all pieces included and wrapped and labeled. The instructions are easy enough. It took me a total of about 3 hours maybe 3.5 but I worked on it over two days alone. I watched a youtbe video first, it didn't show much detail as far as the layout of the ends of the bars, but the instructions did. When you put the hand holds on make sure you fit then with the slightly narrower end toward the end of the bar - you will know when you set them on. Kids love it, I have two 9 year olds and a 5 year old.

This is the one you want!

We bought this climbing dome several years ago. We have 16 grandchildren, and they are tough on stuff. We put this out on the riverbank by our fishing pond. The girls use it to play house, and boys build a fort. It can be covered with blankets for a reading station. My son-in-law and his boys weaved sticks and reeds into the sections and made a hut. There's room for several children to play at once. After 4 years out in blizzards and 110+ heat...it looks exactly like it did when we put it up. And putting it up was easy.
